This was a wonderful holiday , it was a privilege to meet Agnes , to stay in her lovely, unique home and experience the beauty and drama of the Lysefjord - and of Agnes's studio which is located in the fabulous renovated old power station. Florli is absolutely charming, you feel you are in the wilderness but also have a nice homespun cafe on your doorstep , even with Internet access ! We can't recommend this trip enough and will be telling all our friends: If you love any or all of these things : nature, hiking (stunning walks big or small) , art ,wise warm people and great breakfasts you have to come here! You really should.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Flørli - it's a charming little place, full of history, views, places to relax, swim and a starting point for fantastic hikes (but no shop, so bring food). The house is lovely: simple, spacious, very cosy and comfortable, with views that are even better than it shows in the photos. There is even a waterfall and pool at the bottom of the garden if you fancy an invigorating dip! Agnes is an amazing host: full of joy, creativity and wisdom; she made our stay very special indeed. She helped us plan our arrival and departure by ferry (very straight-forward), as well as tips on some incredible hikes along the Fjord and across the mountains (yes we did climb the 4444 steps, and oh my, when you get to the top it will take your breath away). Agnes struck the perfect balance of welcoming us into her world, whilst giving us the space to enjoy and discover on our own. This was our first visit to Norway; we came with an open mind, and left with memories we will treasure forever. Thank you Agnes!

Agnes was a great host, meeting me at the cafe and showing me around town and the house. The food was good, and she helped me in planning/troubleshooting transportation. She made me feel included in the neighborhood by having friends/neighbors/volunteers over for dinner the night I arrived, the good conversation keeping us up late that night. I definitely recommend staying at her B&B! :-)

Agnes was a wonderful host and really made extra efforts to make sure we had the best time! She helped us confirm the ferry times before arriving, and met us at thw pier. She made us coffee and showed us around the area, including the old hydropower plant and small hikes around it. Even though we left at 6.50am she still made us a wonderful breakfast with waffles, bread, cheese, ham etc. I can easily recommend this to anyone. Location is as described in the info, you need to take a ferry there, but they are fast and also an experience in itself.
