Our Cosy Cottage is a cute self-contained house in Central Ohakune, on Goldfinch Street. Walking distance to restaurants, ski hire/transport, cafes, bars, shops. Fully equipped kitchen, unlimited WiFi, washer and dryer, free parking, air conditioning / heat pump, satellite TV.

Base yourself here for your Ruapehu ski trip, do the Tongariro Crossing, one of the world's best day hikes, rent a bike and cycle the Old Coach Road, or use our house to rest and relax.

The space
Our home is equipped with unlimited WiFi for rainy days, with a front garden and big deck to relax in the sun. In the centre of Ohakune, the house is convenient for all Ohakune has to offer.

The two single beds can be combined into a super king on request, there is also a queen bed and a double bed in the two other bedrooms. All linen, sheets and towels etc are provided. A heat pump, and panel heaters are available for those chilly winter nights.

There is free unlimited wifi, and satellite TV.

Well behaved dogs are allowed, but must not be allowed on furniture. If left alone, please only in the non carpeted areas. A $30 fee applies :)

There is plenty to do in summer or winter, including mountain biking, skiing, walking, rocking climbing, and much more.

We are close to Turoa, Whakapapa and Tukino ski fields, many gorgeous nature walks, bike tracks, hikes, the Old Coach Road, and much more. A short drive to the Tongariro Crossing, one of the best day hikes in the world.

Ohakune township (10 minute walk) has a supermarket, restaurants, cafes, the best eclairs in the world, takeaways, bike & ski hire, a pharmacy, and more.
