Great location
90% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Nestled in a tranquil, unspoilt valley with a wonderful countryside view, this completely refurbished luxury cottage forms part of a Victorian Oast house.

The cottage has its own parking area, private entrance and secluded garden with seating. Inside there's space for four people. King size beds or two singles are available in both bedrooms. Travel cot, booster seat and Stokke high chair in situ. Upstairs there's a compact but luxurious shower room, downstairs larger bathroom for long soaks.

The space
The cottage is attached to our residence and situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, protected for its wonderful landscape. There are lovely views out of the windows. As part of an Oast House with two round towers and built in 1867, visitors are experiencing a little bit of history. There are many lovely bridleways and footpaths to explore directly from the farm, though please stick to the areas designated for the cottage within the farm - as it is a working farm there is machinery in the barns.

Where you’ll be

Kent, England, United Kingdom

There are many footpaths to enjoy directly from the cottage. To the north, the Black Robin pub, serving delicious food, is just over a mile's walk away. To the east, up over a field and down quiet lanes, Barham has a thriving community shop with local food including ice cream made from Jersey dairy herd around 10 miles away. Despite being very rural, the fascinating medieval city of Canterbury is a short bus, cycle or drive away. The coast is readily accessible with Sunny Sands in Folkestone about twenty minutes by car. Enjoy gourmet food while you are there at Rock Salt, a famous restaurant. Dover Castle is a great day out, while the Pig, a newly opened boutique hotel, is in the next village up in Bridge, with fine dining on offer. And London is just an hour's train ride away from Canterbury.
