The space

Our two new hostels (opened in 2012 and 2013) are situated in typical charming andalusian houses that are more than 100 years old. Both houses were renovated and keep a very friendly urban feel. The hostels were created as an idea by two travelers that want to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. We hope to create a calm oasis in the center of our beautiful city.

"Casa Al Sur" and "Casa Al Sur Terraza" are ideally located within a short walking distance to all the main sites: Museo Picasso, Museo Thyssen, the famous Calle Larios, Malagueta beach, la Alcazaba, the Cathedral, as well as theaters, restaurants, bars and clubs.

Like all travels are different, our accomodations are different: We offer private or shared rooms with private or shared bathroom, all with a comfortable, modern look and an eye to detail. Both hostels are equipped with a unique and beautiful roofdeck, full communal kitchen and comfortable lounge.

We also provide free WiFi, ceiling fans, heaters, laundry service as well as a multilingual reception (Spanish, English, German) with information desk.

Breakfast-Buffet offered at Casa Al Sur Terraza for 5,00 Euro.

Double Rooms with Private Bathroom on request.

We stayed in the hostel for one night and it provided a great base to explore Malaga. Easily walkable to the centre and with friendly staff. The bedroom was basic but ideal for our needs with a balcony looking out onto the street. The kitchen/eating area was also handy! Thank you, Christina and Victor!

Cute little hostel with lovely and helpful staff. Cool rooftop and very central. Can be a little noisy from the street but inside the hostel there was a very respectful and quiet athmosphere.

The location is perfect. Very close to the old Malaga. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. The staff was also nice and helpful. Check-in is not possible between 4 and 6 pm so we recommend other travellers to take this into consideration as this was something we didn't know and showed up when the reception desk was closed. Wifi was also a bit tricky on the 3rd floor but overall we had a nice stay and would recommend this place!

It had a wonderful stay at this place, all the people working there have been very charming. I especially loved the breakfast experience on the rooftop, a typical andalusian buffet - just fantastic!

thank you for the stay in malaga - unfortunately we didn´t like it so much. The room was very tiny, very hot and extremely loud...

We had a great stay at the hostel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the roof top terrace was a great place to relax and meet other guests. The location was good with plenty of parking and a short walk into the city centre.

We love to travel and our hostels are, we think, the best way we can express it ...
