This is a cute little cottage built in the 1930's on the Williamson River. Down river, there are trout in for fishing, catch and release only, anyone over 12 must have a license to fish. The deck at the back of the house is partially covered. The river is also great for playing, swimming ( a little cold in spring ) and for kayaking. There is a kayak rental store in town. It is usually warm, 70's & 80's, on summer afternoons. There are stairs to enter the cottage. Great place to relax.

The space
There is a large gravel driveway with plenty of room to park in front of the cottage. There is a full kitchen, bedroom with two beds (please do not move them), a living room with a sofa bed (has a queen size air mattress), bathroom with tub & shower (watch your head, the ceiling is low over the shower).

Where you’ll be

Chiloquin, Oregon, United States

There are many homes along the river (all are private). The area is only a little over 2 miles from Downtown Chiloquin. The town has three small grocery/convenience stores, a few restaurants, a wonderful hardware store (the old fashioned kind with everything), a tourist information and local art center, laundromat, kayak rental store and some other small businesses. There is a casino just a few miles down highway 97 toward Klamath Falls. There are many other attractions in the area, including other rivers, hiking trails, parks, and lots of trees. Many of the roads are gravel so there is a lot of dust. Bring mosquito repellent for the evenings if you plan to be outside.
