This is a traditional style Mongolian yurt with ash frame and canvas cover. The space has 1 double bed and 2 single beds suitable for a family of 4. The yurt includes large wood-fired stove, electric heater, reading lamp with wireless charger, additional furnishings, lanterns, fairy lights, crisp white linen and bath towels .There's a BBQ, wood-fired hot tub (€45 per fill) and clay pizza oven

The space
We're on the Slane Castle estate close to the historic village of Slane and Bru Na Boinne (UNESCO ). There are great views across the River Boyne and the surrounding country. We have great family-friendly activities and good dining options on and off the farm. You’ll love my place because of the location, facilities, space & views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (+ kids).

Oak is located on our secluded woodland hideaway (Rock Farm Slane Glamping) with its own communal facilities (kitchen, showers, toilets and seating areas) by the Le Shack main Glamping facilities with its own kitchen and dining area and large shower block. This Glamping area also has a BBQ, wood-fired hot tub and clay pizza oven. So don't forget to order our self-catering pizza packs with ingredients from our organic farm.
Guests have access to the main fields around the farmyard and reception area, as well as wonderful walks (up to 10km) along the Boyne Ramparts Walk.

Rock Farm Slane is set in the heart of the Slane Castle estate in the centre of the Boyne Valley on the banks of the River Boyne. The Glamping is located in a parkland area of outstanding natural beauty with views of Slane Castle and the wider Boyne Valley. There are lots of historical and local attractions close by, but most guests end up staying more time than anticipated hanging out in the Glamping or on the wider organic farm.
Slane is one of the best know heritage villages in Ireland. Thanks to the rock concerts at Slane Castle and now the new whiskey distillery, Slane now has a vibrant food and music culture with restaurants, cafes and bistros as well as great live music pubs. Be sure to book in on a Wednesday night to see the Wednesday Gang open session in Boyle's of Slane and don't forget to book a tour around the new Slane Distillery. We are also only 6km from the UNESCO World Heritage megalithics tombs at Bru Na Boinne (Newgrange) and only 8km from the Battle of the Boyne centre. We also offer kayaking to keep you busy while you're here.
