This is the actual and original Spice Bus that fans will know and love from the movie Spice World - but with an interior makeover. Working with some incredible designers, we have turned it into accommodation, so that you can stay the night and live out every fan’s wildest dream. The bus has the bonus of being situated in a stunning location overlooking Island Harbour Marina. There is a Bar, Restaurant, and a small shop on site. You can reach us by land, sea, or air!

The space
The outside of the bus shows off its famous Union Jack exterior, as it did in the Spice World movie. Inside, as huge fans of the band, we have tried to include as many little touches as possible, inspired by the girls and their music, to make the interior just as iconic as the outside!

Inside, guests will have the run of both floors, which have been lovingly renovated with little nods to each of the Spice Girls and some bold interiors. The bus can sleep up to three people, with two sharing a double bed and one on a single day bed.

Downstairs

The driver’s seat remains at the front of the bus – sadly no Meatloaf! Towards the back of the bus there is a spacious seating area with a table and three Union Jack cinema-style chairs, for relaxing in front of the TV or listening to Wannabe on repeat on the old-school CD player.

Upstairs

There is a double bed at the back of the bus, as well as a day bed, which can accommodate a third guest if needed. There is also a separate dressing room area, complete with rail and dressing table – perfect for Spice Girl-inspired makeovers.

A facilities block is located a few steps from the bus for your private use. In the facilities block, there is a toilet, sink and shower room, as well as toiletries and towels. Within this block there is also a kitchenette area with a sink, kettle, microwave, cutlery, and crockery. There is a mini fridge inside the bus. Note, there are no bathroom facilities on the bus itself. As the bus still has its original structure, there are stairs and so unfortunately, it is not suited for all accessibility needs.

Other things to note:

• There is no partition between the double and single bed, both situated on the top deck.

• There are no kitchen facilities or running water on the bus.

• There are shops and a restaurant within two minutes’ walk.

• There is no Wi-Fi on the bus, but there is free Wi-Fi at the onsite bar/restaurant.

• The bus is located at Island Harbour Marina.

• All guests must be 12 years or older.

• The bus sleeps three people.

• Height restrictions are 1.7 metres, so watch your head!

• Towels will be provided in the separate facilities block.

• The bus has electricity points.

• Please also note that there is no smoking on the bus or within the grounds; and sadly no pets are allowed!

The bus is located within a stunning marina based on the River Medina, just 2 miles from Newport town centre where there are lots of shops, restaurants and bars. It is reachable on foot within approximately 25 minutes or there is a bus stop half a mile up the lane. You will also find Medina Leisure Centre and Theatre close by. The Isle of Wight is an incredible place to visit, for what's going on during your stay take a look at Visit Isle of Wight!
