Interaction with guests
Usually not at all or very little, depending upon the guest, i respect your privacy and want to be available should you need anything.
I love my neighborhood, it is very quiet and the views are fantastic. I seldom have any interaction with neighbors, as everyone appreciates their privacy, but they are great folks to spend time with.
i walk daily on the road and in the arroyo behind the house, and there are many trails within minutes of my location.....then Arroyo Seco is just a few minutes drive or bike ride from the house too. it is a small village with shops, restaurants, galleries and plenty of charm...
the valley where i live is still very quiet and mostly undisturbed, giving you a sense of what Northern New Mexico was like hundreds of years ago!
there are lots of birds and some wildlife to be seen.
Not really, although there is a public bus that travels to the Taos Ski Valley in the winter.
For your winter visit, a four wheel drive vehicle is recommended, sometimes conditions are such that a conventional vehicle, especially one without snow tires may not be able to get to the house.
Other things to note
I leave pretty detailed notes for you, there are nuances that are part of my living style in a handmade home!
