The Casita is a uniquely decorated guesthouse apartment that exudes character and has all the basic amenities that make for a comfortable long-term stay. It is well located, close to downtown and easily accessible by transit. Pam was a gracious host, always helpful and attentive.

Small but beautifully appointed Casita! I had everything you could want for my 5 month stay! The outdoor amenities were wonderful and perfect for a glass of wine in the evening. Pam was a marvelous host and a wealth of knowledge about the area and especially the music/entertainment scene. I was always welcome to join her and her friends to enjoy a night of music and dancing. I felt right at home and Pam went out of her way to make sure my stay was perfect!

Excellent and accommodating host. -Pam was very helpful with us moving from Colorado to Texas. We were unique in that we had a lot of stuff with us that we moved with. Pam helped make space for anything that we needed (including letting us use her garage for a few items). Location is fantastic. -Walk down the street to a great grocery store. -Walk down the street to some great restaurants. -Neighborhood is extremely safe and enjoyable. Space is an excellent value. -Price wise it would be hard to beat this place with its location, space, and host.

This was a great place to stay. The neighborhood was extremely quiet. The description of the rental on this website says that you can sometimes hear music from around the neighborhood, but I never experienced this. Sleeping and relaxin was super easy because the house was so quiet. Pam is truly a fantastic landlord. The house is very clean, pulled together, and comfortable. The intricate interior design of the house adds to the experience in a very positive manner. Location wise, you can't get much better than this. Getting to downtown only takes a few minutes.

I stayed with Pam for 3 very lovely months. She was super welcoming and the Casita was adorable. It had everything I needed and was a really lovely retreat from the busyness of downtown austin. The neighborhood is super safe -- I often went running late at night and never worried about my safety. There is a super convenient bus line a very short walk away that takes you directly downtown in about 10 minutes. There is a pretty well stocked grocery right next to the bus stop and loads of really nice restaurants and cafes along West Lynn. I really enjoyed my stay there and if you want a peaceful retreat the Casita is an excellent place to stay.

We stayed at Casita Riad one month and we really think that it was a lucky choice. Write a review for this listing implies to divide it in two parts: one concerning the host and the other the Casita, both fantastic. Since the true beginning the host made us feel perfectly welcomed. She was helping with everything what we needed and along all the time we stayed, couldn't expect a better host. The casita is very nice, very clean, has a special design, and a lot of special things. Moreover the neighborhood is very good, surrounded by quiet streets and close to the downtown (the bus communication is comfortable). The garden, with its patio, is very nice. There we were enjoying our evenings having very nice dinners outside. In addition, a non obvious quality of Casita concern its neighbors that are particularly friendly and contributed to make our stay a perfect experience. In the listing Pam gave a very accurate description and the pictures reflect the actual conditions of furnishing
