The space
This is an original mews coach house which was built as part of the Georgian New Town.
The building has been converted by a team of architects and designers to create a unique 1 bedroom live/work space. There are original artworks, books, plants and mid century pieces arranged throughout. 7 acres of private gardens are on the doorstep with river walks, galleries, shops and restaurants within 10 minutes walk.
The Studio is private and entirely quiet, tucked away round the back of a Georgian square. You enter through your own front door framed by olive trees into the living space.
The handmade kitchen is fully equipped with Siemens and Smeg appliances. All the basics for cooking are provided as well as tea and coffee.
To the rear is a living area with L shaped sofa. Under stair cupboards contain storage and a washing machine.
A stone and glass stairway leads up to a large bedroom and bathroom. In the bedroom there is an Ercol king size bed with a high quality mattress and white cotton sheets. This room overlooks the mews and has an original fireplace with cast iron range.
There is a hairdryer kept in the bedroom drawers.
The house is fully central heated.
