The 'Usher family financed the building of the Usher Hall in Edinburgh, when the Hall was refurbished a few years ago a section of the auditorium floor was purchased and installed into the bedroom of the lodge house.
The garden was landscaped by an eccentric previous owner in 1970's producing a 7 acre adult 'playground' with tunnels, cave and elevations giving 360 degree views from the top to the Forth bridges, Edinburgh etc.
Easy access to Edinburgh; bus or tram. South Queensferry with its lovely historic cobbled high street. Glasgow, Stirling and further all easily accessed. See near by 'Kelpies' and 'Falkirk Wheel'.
