Christine's place is lovingly decorated and the location is fantastic. The A/C works well as does the shower and the washer which are all important esp in the height of summer in HK. The bed is quite comfortable. So coming back to the flat every day was enjoyable.
There are quite a few stairs to walk up but this wasn't an issue for me as I am used to walk ups. The wifi was a bit unstable and it required turning the modem on/off several times over several days to get it flowing again.
The main negative for me was the check in process. I am sure it was a one off but we had a material miscue. We had arranged a check in time well in advance and Christine had said she would send further details but unfortunately the details did not arrive and no one was there to meet me. After several attempts I was able to reach Christine who was overseas. Alternative arrangements were made and I was able to get into the flat at a later time that day. I have to admit that I found the situation quite inconvenient and it put me in an awkward position. However Christine was very apologetic, attentive in trying to sort out a solution and she offered to make it up to me which I felt was fair/appropriate... although as I write this has yet to occur but I am hopeful that she will come through.
I do think communication could be better. But as I mentioned, I am sure my experience was abnormal. Outside of this, the flat itself is worth recommending for your stay in HK.
