Cosy and private self contained first floor flat in Cirencester decorated with mid century furniture.

There is free parking and the flat is an easy walk to shops, attractions and the town centre.

There is a separate kitchen, bathroom and sitting room.

The bedroom has a king size bed with visprung mattress. The sitting room has a small sofa bed, dining table and chairs to seat four and television. The kitchen has four hobs, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, cafetière and fridge.

The space
This is a self contained flat so you can come and go as you choose. The kitchen has pots and pans, cooker, hobs, toaster, cafetière and a fridge, so you can decide whether to stay in and cook if you don't feel like going out.
And you can stock the fridge with your own breakfast, fruit juice, booze or midnight snacks. So much more convenient than a hotel.

Guest access
You will have the entire flat to yourself.
It is a first floor flat with no lift.
The front door is shared with one other flat.
The keys are in a lockbox.

Other things to note
Please note that there is road noise in the sitting room and the sofa bed is not very large (114cm wide x 177cm long / 45" wide x 69½" long).
The bedroom itself is quiet, so the flat would be perfect for a couple travelling with children who are happy to share the sofa bed. In my experience children don't really notice road noise. However, if you have guests or children who intend to use the sofa bed then please make sure they are happy to squeeze onto the small sofa bed and prepared to ignore the road noise!
Please note that there are brown stains in the bath. These are nothing untoward, they were caused by a saddle left in the bath by a polo player. We have been unable to remove the stains, however the bath is bleached between each visit and the bath is perfectly clean.
The bath will be changed as soon as possible, but the need to re-tile and re-paint the whole bathroom means that it is not a quick task and so we ask you to forgive the stains for the time being.
There are four dining chairs and the dining table can be enlarged to seat four. However the sofa bed will have to be folded away if the dining table is to be set up for four people.
The sofa bed can be set up ready for you or left to use as a sofa. If the latter then you will have to make up the sofa bed yourself of course. Please let us know how which you prefer.

Location

Cirencester, England, United Kingdom

Cirencester is more than just a picturesque cotswold town, it is a place steeped in history. In Roman times Cirencester was the second largest town after London with a population of around twenty thousand people, not far off the number today.
This flat is well situated for business travellers being within walking distance of St James Place and the Mitsubishi head office.
For the the off-duty traveller there is a lot to see and do In Cirencester, there is a very good museum telling the history of the town over the last 2000 years, there is the ten thousand acre Bathurst Estate park for walkers (restrictions apply for dogs) and probably the most beautiful Polo grounds in the country. The hedge around the Manor house is reputed to be the largest Yew hedge in Europe.
The church of St John the Baptist is supposed to be the largest Parish church in England and is very impressive.
There are three parks, lots of restaurants, coffee shops, boutique clothing shops, art galleries and there are very good plays, shows, comedy and other entertainments at the theatres.
The Cotswold Water park is only ten minutes by car and has great walks, cycle paths and food and drink as well as paddle boarding, sailing, wake boarding and other water sports.
There are many regional activities to see if you time your visit right. Duck racing at South Cerney, Cheese Rolling at Coopers Hill, Polo matches, Wool Sack races, music festivals including Cirencesters own Phoenix festival, steam rallies and Fairford international air tattoo which might be the best air show in the world.
Nearby there are a lot of wonderful Cotswold towns and villages, really good walks, country pubs and castles at Berkeley, Winchcomb and Warwick.
There is also the Cotswold Wildlife Park and the Crocodiles of the World not too far away.
