I had a wonderful stay at Alicia's. Her apartment is spacious, clean and comfortable. I had everything i needed for the week and it's conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood with lots of local places to hang out and close to the subway. Alicia is super friendly and I enjoyed chatting with her when our schedules overlapped. She is a most gracious and thoughtful host and housemate!

Many thanks to Alicia for great hospitality. Nice apartments for a reasonable price. Walking distance to Prospect Park, Brooklyn Museum, Botanic Garden and some others. The place is clean and well equipped for being comfortable. I would recommend to stay here. The only thing summer travelers need to know is that, while you need to keep window open, Fort Hamilton Pkwy is next to and heavy trucks can disturb you early in the morning.

We had a great time in home of Alicia! She was a very nice host. The house is in a great location near two stops of two metros and is close to shops. At the same time it is quiet and surrounded by greenery.

There's plenty of space indeed, both in living room and bedrooms. The area has the chilled-out Brooklyn vibe, but a reasonable (~30 min) commute with F train gets you back to Manhattan whenever you need to.

No complaints. Don't hesitate to stay at Alicia's place! Just make sure to take the F-train to get there, NOT the D-train...

Alicia was on vacation herself while I stayed at her apartment. She was none the less careful and considerate to make arrangements for my comfort and convenience during my stay with detailed instructions. Her pup was friendly and polite, the space clean and cheerful. I enjoyed my stay very much and will return for a visit.

A native Californian, I am a yoga teacher and dancer who has been living in Brooklyn for 10+ years. I occasionally travel internationally for work, and try to enjoy a few extra days vacation on my humble dancer income. All things considered, a pretty good life! I also try to leave my city every 6 months to go outdoors. I love living close to the park and Greenwood Cemetery.

I love to cook, relax with a glass of wine or enjoy a book in the evenings. I don't watch a lot of TV, but do see a lot of live performance and occasionally watch Netflix at home. I love the museums, galleries and concerts NY has to offer and I'm mostly engaged in conceptual/downtown/independent art making. Home is a peaceful place for me, where I can get away from the pressures of busy city life.

I enjoy hosting visitors and have many recommendations for places to see and things to do in NYC. I'd love to give you an inside scoop on this great city that I love.
