Room in a home

Your own room in a home, plus access to shared spaces.
One private room with double bed, closet space, and sitting area. Shared bathroom with one guest. Basic necessities. ( hair dryer, towels and iron) Room has a large tv for streaming your favorite apps, fast Wifi, small refrigerator with freezer and microwave. We are unique location offering breakfast on Sundays Only. I have 2 small chihuahuas that live downstairs with me.

The space
The house is very quiet, and it is a great place to rest or to get caught up on some extra work or use as a home base to explore the city. It is a great place to relax and enjoy your time in Houston.

Guest access
The private room, sitting area and shared bathroom with one guest are on the second floor which is relatively private. I do have a home office upstairs as well that I work from at home, but other than that, the rooms and second floor are relatively private.

During your stay
I do work during the week, but I am available by text or a phone call away. I am usually home some days during the day and in the evenings. I will be happy to help and give you any feedback and advice you would like about the city or leave you to enjoy your privacy in your room.

Other things to note
I have two small chihuahuas that live downstairs with me. They are super friendly, but they do bark at first if they see you. They do always love meeting new people. :)

Neighbourhood highlights

Quiet, diverse, middle class neighborhood in the city. It is on the northwest edge of the city. The neighborhood is known for having lots of greenspace surrounding it. 10 min to I 45, Beltway 8 and 290, 10 min to 610 and I 10 West. 15 min drive to the Heights and 20 min to Galleria and Downtown when it isn't rush hour. It is also 25-30 minutes to IAH and 40 minutes to Hobby.
