Bassano del Grappa and this place will be for you a top location. Couldn't choose a better place for your vacation.
Villa Tra' monti was designed in the 1950s by architect Francesco Bonfanti. Every detail have been taken care of, and I love to make sure it is well maintained.
My B&B offers, on two different floors, three luxurious ensuite bedrooms, one single and two doubles. Timber flooring and furniture of the period create an elegant and pleasant ambiance. The kitchen, two large living rooms, two patios and the garden are free access to all guests. The patios offer a wonderful view to the old town and the nearby hills. Bassano del Grappa historic centre, with its traditional inns, squares and market places, is only 10 minutes' walk from the villa, through Park “Ragazzi del 99".
Kitchen, patio, garden and living/dining room are shared with the eventual other guests of the two doubles. But your room will be private so as you bathroom.
I have pets living downstairs with me and that have access to a private garden (separate from the one that you are free to enjoy), so they never get in the guests area.
Enjoy chilling in the wide common area or garden.
Touristic but out of the usual beaten tracks, this town and your stay here will surprise you on every aspect.
Apart from your spacious private bedroom with ensuite, you will have free access to a large living room with fireplace, patio, fully equipped kitchen, balcony with a great view and garden.
Enjoy the warmth of the living room or kitchen during winter time so as the breeze coming from the mountains during the summer.
Interaction with guests
In the message thread it could be either myself or Nada replying to you, due that I am not a huge computer fan, I have her helping me with this.
Once here I will provide you with infos and customised suggestions to enjoy our historic beautiful town, how to reach the villa easily and I (or someone I trust) am available in case of late or early check in upon request.
Should you want an expert for trails of the area, let me know. We do have friends that are sports lovers and looking for anyone that will join them in a bike tour or hiking tour of the surroundings.
Other things to note
You will be living in a truly historic gem of the town of Bassano del Grappa, at just 10 minute walking distance from the heart of this small but vibrant town. In this way you can enjoy the pleasure that this town can offer without being annoyed by traffic noise.
There is a 0,50Euro cent fee per person per night to pay cash at the arrival that I need to pay to the council at the end of your stay for each of my guest.
If you want to do something different like hiking, exploring the surroundings with a bike or other sports, let me know and I will help you reserving with a great guide.
Dog and cat lives with me downstairs. They do not get in guest's room, and do not go upstairs at all. But you might see them in the garden (though they have their private garden separate from the guest's one.
Normal respect of the house.
Please note that the furniture is antique and so it has a great value for me, being of my family for long time, so please pay attention to it;
Check in can be flexible, depending of course on the status of the room, but if it is before other's guests check out or immediately after I can still manage to help you with luggage so let me know.
There will be a 0,50€ fee for each person per day to be paid to me during your stay, which I will deposit at the end of every month to the municipality of Bassano del Grappa.
We will also need to see your documents and write down details as required by local authorities or take a picture of it (that we will delete straight after sending details).
No guest undeclared during check in may stay overnight.
Children under the age of 2 are welcome but I do not have a cot.
I do care about environment so I WANT that my guests are respectful of that, which means:
1) turn off lights when you are heading out or when not needed in a room;
2) recycle: all the bins are in the kitchen for you to use so please follow the way we do it:
plastic (not soaked with oil or dirty)
cardboard and paper (not soaked with oil or dirty);

all the rest.
There is a door to door collection.

The rest (dry waste): Wednesday

The washing machine is for my personal use, so won't be available for guests.
Please do not move furniture around, as said every detail is antique and I like it the way it is, please respect this :)

I love travelling, meeting people and sharing experiences but I also love to be back at home. I love my town and this house.
This villa has been of my family for long time and I then decided to turn it into a B&B so that everyone can enjoy the beauty of my home town, the surroundings and the relax in one of my favourite place in the world. I have been hosting now for several years before discovering AirBnB.
Hope to host you all soon or be your guest during my travels.
