Lives in Portland, Maine
I grew up split between living in the city in Philadelphia, taking the subways to school and living at the end of a three mile dirt road off the grid in the Western foothills of Maine. When I found Portland, Maine, I found the place that was just right in the middle for me with access to culture and excitement, lots of new social connection and restaurants, etc., yet at the same time 20 minutes to ride waves at a great beach, take a small mountain hike or go apple picking at a farm and 40 minutes to go skiing. The best of both worlds! I am an addictions therapist working on the front lines of the opiate epidemic close by in a more rural part of Maine. I love working with people who are on their growing edge and courageous enough to try hard to overcome the bondage and isolation of addiction. All along, through whatever career I have had, I have worked in the hospitality industry and the restaurant business to help make ends meet and diversify my work by keeping things light, fun and social by waiting tables. I love providing people with an opportunity and atmosphere to relax and enjoy themselves. I have had a lot of fun designing, renovating and creating this space for you to enjoy the warmth of a great place to stay in my favorite city and place to live.
