Situated at the end of the road in 11 private acres of trees is a loft bedroom guest house called "die Hutte" that is just 1.7mi from the Blue Ridge Parkway --- the gateway to all of the adventures that the Great Smoky Mountains have to offer.

The space
This guest house, which we call the "Hutte," is a completely separate, secluded, private, unique facility that is not only charming, it is complete with a kitchen, satellite TV, instant LPG gas heat, a queen size bed, suburb mountain well water --- in short, it has everything you’ll ever need for a relaxing, peaceful, cozy get-a-way. Its all-wood interior produces a "natural" atmosphere that blends well with the surrounding Smoky Mountain rural community.
Situated only 1.7 miles from an entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, one has ready access to the Cherokee Indian reservation, Asheville, Mount Mitchel, Gatlinburg, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and many, many other points of interest. There’s plenty of nearby hiking trails, waterfalls, picnic areas, golf courses, historic landmarks, local events ---- enough to guarantee a full day, every day and a full digital camera chip with precious memories.

Trees, birds, squirrels, occasional wild turkeys and numerous other inhabitants of untainted nature surround you as soon as you enter the driveway. Opportunities for unique photo ops are everywhere from the lowly mushroom to the spectacular Great Smoky Mountain views. Just take a walk or a short drive and get a lifetime of memories.
