Hi I 'm Jo! My husband and I own the newly-renovated, unique vintage Wine Country Cottage ™ on East Grand Traverse Bay. I fell in love with the Old Mission Peninsula 20 years ago, when I produced a swanky corporate dinner event at Chateau Chantal, when it was 1 of only 3 wineries at that time on the Old Mission Peninsula. Standing on the hill where Chateau Chantal is perched, and overlooking both the East and West Grand Traverse Bay, was the memorable and breathtaking moment I discovered there are not many places in the world more beautiful than this. There are now over 14 wineries on the "OMP," and 25 plus on the nearby Leelanau Peninsula. A few years ago, we found and purchased our little piece of paradise that we are now excited to share a few times a year with others by renting it. We both have long-careers in creative fields, and are good at visualizing and bringing things to their full potential, and have now proudly accomplished that at our cottage. It's truly a special place. I am a part-time freelance Writer/Creative Director with a long career in the advertising industry. I do volunteer work for non-profits, practice yoga, and am involved with our local Christian church. Sipping a glass of wine on the cottage deck, while staring at the water, spending time with friends and family, reading, hiking and enjoying the amazing views and wineries, are a few of my favorite things to do.
