When we arrived we found that the property is located in a beautiful wooded area with a lot of walkways and paths - a very pleasant surprise. Lisa's listing is completely accurate - everything is as described. The room and accommodation is clean, comfortable and well maintained. It's within reasonable distance to Washington, either by car or by bus then Metro. These things make for a great stay but it's with complete sincerity that I can say that Lisa is the reason why you should book to stay here. Her communication was outstanding before we even arrived. More than that though, she was incredibly organised. One such example is the fact that she had a folder with information about the area: important contact numbers, nearby sights, restaurants etc. Lisa also went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. She bought fresh fruit and stocked our own mini fridge with yoghurts, orange juice and soda prior to us arriving. As if that wasn't enough, we arrived back late the night before we checked out and found she had muffins and breakfast goodies for us to have before we left the following morning. My friend and I only met Lisa briefly and, despite her working a double shift, she made every effort to check in with us to see if we needed anything. She is a superstar of a host and I cannot fully do justice to the quality experience she provided, her warmth and friendliness. Truly a remarkable stay.

Our stay was quite comfortable with space that is spacious and cute. Make sure to ask about the things that are available to you, it says laundry is available but is most times locked for use. Other than that our stay was good. Lisa is a wonderful woman and quick to reply.

Lisa is warm and inviting and has a very comfortable bedroom room with an area outside the room equiped with table and chairs, simple breakfast items and use of a mini refrig and coffee machine. A quiet neighbor with Sligo Creek park just a block away.

Where to start?! I was traveling with my sister to DC for the first time and I came across Lisa's posting. The reason I decided on Lisa's space was due to the positive feedback and comments left by other visitors. And boy, were they right!! Lisa is an amazing, warm, kind, loving and friendly face. We arrived right at check-in time and Lisa had generously taken time from work to go back to her place to check us in. She walked us through the space and even offered to set up the futon. She was warm and chatted with her for about 20 minutes before she had to go. The space was beyond what I expected which was the downstairs of a Townhome. The downstairs is equipped with a living area with a futon then there is a dining table with lots of goodies for breakfast including cereals, fruits, oatmeal, peanut butter, crackers and condiments. The fridge was well stocked with bottled waters, juice, chocolate milk, creamer and space for additional items. There was also a Kreuig as well in the room. The bed was super comfortable and the closet was well stocked with extra bedding, blankets, pillows and cutlery. We had a car during our stay and it was easy to find a place to park. In addition to the food, Lisa well stocked the space with flyers, suggestions to go, tour guides and made herself available for any questions. She was accommodating to us having to leave early! (4am!) Lisa truly is the top of the crop in terms of hosts. Her location is perfect and also perfectly equipped with AirCon! Although, we didn't unfortunately get to spend much time with Lisa, as we were out and about. She is truly the best host we've stayed with (and I've Airbnb'd abroad). Lisa, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for your generosity, kindness, love and friendship! :) We loved the kitty too!! Hope to see you soon!! :) :) :) Greetings from Seattle!!

Lisa's home is just so welcoming and accessible. We had so much fun during our trip and always had a peaceful and relaxing space we could cone home to. Lisa bends over backward to make sure you have everything you could possibly need and she is quite gregarious as well! We enjoyed visiting thoroughly and would do it again in a heartbeat. The neighborhood cat is super friendly too, it owns the block.
