The space
About Tiny Home KINDRED

Enter through the double doors to the front. In front of you is the main living space, two huge easy chairs that convert to single beds, a coffee table, a dining table and chairs and storage areas as well as the wood burning stove. Ahead is the surprisingly large kitchen that has regular sized equipment and storage and from there a sliding door takes you through to the wc/shower room.
Take the ladder from the living area through the hatch to the bedroom mezzanine where you will find the fabulous handmade wooden bed with triangle shuttered windows looking out over trees and fields. Also on this level is a seating area and a stored single futon and sleeping bag.
10 minutes from the bustle of Cowes or peaceful Gurnard shingle beach. We do also have a car park and our onsite studio complex where all kinds of activities take place
Kitchen – cooker, hob, fridge with small icebox and plenty of kitchen equipment
Shower and WC – composting of course! The toilet is like a regular toilet but is waterless and has a separator - meaning that you wee in the front section and "everything else" in the back section - it's easy, honestly! Eco (bum friendly) toilet paper is supplied along with sawdust to use as you wish. Serviced on request by us - no trouble at all!
Charnwood wood burning stove - all fuel supplied
Pristine white linen and towels are supplied
Welcome pack - tea, coffee, milk and home made cake ... plus essentials such as washing up liquid and tea towels .
Outside deck – also outside seating and your own BBQ

ABOUT OUR ECO CABINS
The Tiny Home cabins are designed to be lo fi … there is access to wifi in the on site studio should you need it. PLEASE NOTE - no wifi in the actual cabin!
Our Tiny Homes are OFF GRID eco cabins and you must be aware of this before booking. As well as having the composting toilets we use solar power
and there are USB sockets in the cabin - regular sockets are available in our studio - along with Wifi, hairdryers, iron etc - you will have 24 hour access to this facility.

NEW - hot tub/sauna Spa available to hire. Ask for details - you can add this to your booking for the applicable fee - check availability before booking if it is a must for you!
DUE TO rising energy costs we are now charging a small fee for our EV charger - details on request

PLEASE NOTE - not suitable for four adults PLUS children/infants ... please do not book if you are trying to fit five people in even if one is a baby! We state this as we wish all guests to be comfortable and enjoy their stay.

We can also book discounted ferry travel for our guests at great rates.

Neighbourhood highlights

We have a beautiful large meadow where our six tiny home cabins are situated.
Next to an enormous forest.
We have an onsite car park and studio on the same property - close to but not encroaching on the ambience of the meadow.
There are one or two neighbouring properties in this rural hamlet - the overall atmosphere is peaceful.

Along with my husband Frazer I launched one of the UK's original glamping businesses back in 2003 - a field of beautiful shiny vintage Airstream caravans. We sold the Airstreams in 2021 to concentrate on a meadow of six architect designed eco Tiny Home cabins.... and a gorgeous beach shack.
