Susan was great. One of the best hosts I've had. Was welcoming even though we got in a little later than expected, and in the morning gave us some great recommendations for local hiking trails. Would absolutely say with Susan again!

Susan was quick to reply to emails and was very welcoming and helpful. She offered me a cup of tea upon arrival, and we had a nice chat. I also had plenty of space to read and relax. The house is very comfortable, and I had a great rest. I am happy to recommend Susan!

Offered to help bring our belongings into the home and offered us a snack and drinks upon arriving. Showed us our space and asked if we needed anything that was not offered.

This was our second time at Susan's home. Susan is warm and welcoming and her house is homey and comfortable, with lots of books to peruse and a large outdoor space filled with gardens, apple trees and berry bushes. There's a good view of the night sky, perfect for star-gazing. Our room had a big, comfortable bed and a deck with a clothesline,s useful for our bathing suits and towels. Susan is always interesting to talk with and knowledgeable about film and the arts, as well as some secret swimming holes whose locations we won't disclose. Susan's place, while in the country, has easy access to Montpelier, Waterbury, Stowe and the Mad River Valley areas. We'll always come back here – it's our favorite place in this area.

I am a documentary filmmaker who lives in the country. Some favorite things are woods, animals, arts and culture, good friends and good food. I'm a music lover, and also love to walk and swim. My adult children are off and running, doing interesting things with their lives. For many years we've raised blueberries and gardens, and have offered a pick-your-own blueberry patch for the neighborhood.
