Ceilings are 6'1"- guests say they feel snug and comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen to cook gourmet meals, custom built shower, restful bedroom and your separate keyed entrance. Organic garden to enjoy your coffee/wine/BBQ including Cedar Sauna. Off street parking so park that car and throw the keys away! 1 Dog is OK!

~Equipped with all the modern amenities and comfortable furnishings, very restful Queen sized pillow top bed. Guests say it is the best nights sleep they've had in ages! Apt. can accommodate two more quests with Queen futon bed in living room.
~Fully furnished: full kitchen with all kitchenware, dishes, pots & pans, drip coffee maker, individual French Press, and much more! Living room includes cable TV and DVD player, bathroom with custom built shower and separate bedroom. All linens, towels provided.
~WIFI, TV/Cable, A/C and comfy furniture to lounge in.
~Gas BBQ, small fenced yard with organic garden to eat & dine in. 420 friendly area.
~Healthful Cedar Sauna use with instructions by Owners! Use beach towels provided NOT bath towels.

We will meet and greet, get you situated and leave you alone, unless you want to have more interactions, a glass of local wine on our deck?

We have lived in wonderful Ashland for over 32 yrs.
We live right on N. Main Street in the appealing Skidmore Historic District which is so close to the hub of town-The Ashland Plaza-that you won't even break a sweat getting there! And The Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) is an easy stroll just past the Plaza.
You can give up the worry and stress of finding a parking space as we have off street parking for your car.
It's time to lock the car and leave it so you can enjoy the fun and ease of walking everywhere in this adorable little town! There is unsurpassed shopping, bookstores, restaurants on "the Calle", Ashland Creek and Lithia Park all within a five minute stroll. Easy access to dirt alley system for safely walking your dog from the house.
Bus stop is across the street. And your feet are the best way to go! Bike trails and mountain biking is another great way to get around.

~Because the home was built in 1912, the basement ceilings are at about 6'1". You will feel cozy and safe in this Hobbit House!
~Enough coffee for your first morning, grinder and french press and drip coffee pot are provided, just in case you don't want to walk the 1 block to Brother's Restaurant in the morning.
~420 friendly outdoors.
~Pricing includes the City of Ashland Motel/Hotel Occupancy tax of 9% approx. $11.70/night.
~There will be an extra $35-$100+ Dog fee paid if applicable (depending on length of stay). Airbnb has not yet created a Pet Fee button so this will be due at check-in. Sorry, no kitty cats.
~Cleaning fee and Security Dep. may increase with weekly+ stay.
~In 2013 & '14, we rented to families with two children. They all seemed happy, so ask away about children and we can see if we can accommodate. Queen futon couch in living room.

~Dogs are allowed, sorry only one due to space constraints. Sorry no kitty cats. We'll need to discuss further and provide information about your dog and pay an extra Dog Fee of $35-$50 for a weekend, increasing according to length of stay/situation.
~Please make sure that gates are locked so our doggie doesn't escape!
~Off street parking included, please park closest to the carport, leaving one space for our Toyota Truck.

David & I have lived in Ashland for over 30 years and absolutely love the small town charm, friendly and open people with a strong sense of community, the mountains, live music, art galleries, the university, growing wine industry, and all of the outstanding outdoor opportunities. We love white water rafting, hiking, skiing, kayaking, snow shoeing, bicycling and many more adventures that abound within a short drive in the Rogue Valley.
We are lovers of nature and hike several times a week in the Ashland watershed. We love good food, wine and spirits. We BBQ almost every day of the year on our fabulous deck, where we spend most of our mornings and nights during the spring, summer and fall months.

We are animal lovers and have a sweet and adorable Tibetan Spaniel~"McKenzie", named after my favorite river in Oregon, outside of Eugene, which was the first river that I attempted to white water canoe.
