Our time in Cullipool was absolutely fantastic. The island is beautiful, the house is comfortable and gorgeous inside and out, and we wish we could have stayed longer! It was a perfect place to get away and relax. We loved hiking in the hills, walking down to the beach, and exploring the island.

A beautiful house in a beautiful location. Tons of room for everyone to spread out and do their own thing, or get together for meals or just hang out. This is the place to go for quiet and recharging your batteries. Walk to the beach, walk around the village, sit and read, stare at the ocean, stare at the cliffs . . . You can also drive around the island and see historic ruins and beautiful scenery (mind the sheep!). The local people are as friendly as can be. It's kind of remote--miles to the nearest city (Oban), shopping, restaurants, etc. But that's the whole point. Lay in some groceries, don't miss the last ferry (you can download the exact schedule), and you're good to go! We were truly sad to leave.

This is a fantastic property and a superb location for a family get away. The location is remote but easily accessible if you plan in advance. It's well worth the effort when you get there as the location is stunning, the property is filled with character and the local community is welcoming and helpful. Cully, although remote is a very helpful host. He answered all questions in advance of our stay almost immediately and provided us with plentiful information so that we could plan accordingly.

Our stay in Cullypool was just magic. Luing Island has that unique atmosphere and Cully's house was the ideal place for our two kids and my dad even better than description. It is warm, comfy, clean, good beds, good internet, kitchen perfect... besides being beautiful! I hope we can come back one day!

Creagard is a really magical wee place, we were sorry to have to leave when our trip came to an end. The house is striking - from the vaulted living room and the stained glass to the spiral staircases and sailing motifs - but its still homely and comfortable. Its full of lovely details and it made the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway. Our six year old daughter Matilda summed it up when she signed Cully's guestbook: "I want to stay for 60 years."

Easy, outgoing and always working hard to improve visitor experience at Creagard.
I am a keen sailor, and Creagard is the ideal location to explore the surrounding waters. There are two free moorings, and launching a dingy or canoe is an easy task.
I feel that my house is a special place, and welcome others to come along and enjoy the experience.
I believe in enjoying the moment, along with good food, drinking wine with the occasional dram, and some say I am not a bad cook. Looking after the planet and reducing waste is very much part of my lifestyle. Living up the these aspirations can be the challenge.
