Nancy was great communicator before and during our stay. She made arrangements for our late arrival and accommodated a very late request to bring a pet. House is very comfortable with beautiful backyard, pond and hot tub. 5 minutes from Brunswick. Would stay again in a minute.

The location was so lovely, and welcome so warm. The river walk across the street, as well as the grounds with pond lived up to the term idyllic--especially with the added benefit of fall foliage. The location is an easy drive to Bowdoin college, and allowed us to have a mini family reunion. We enjoyed our visit and the accommodations immensely.

We got in much later than expected, Nancy made special arrangements with us to get in the house. In the morning she greeted us with with suggestions of where to eat, walk around, visit and made us feel completely welcome! The house is exactly as described, super cozy and warm. The yard and gardens are absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend, thank you again! Nancy and Dulcie, you rock!

Great, quiet house. Interesting space, with multiple levels and an open design. Great for a couple of couples splitting a house.

Karen helped us out while the owners were away and was extremely helpful. We arrived quite late but it wasn't an issue. The space is much larger than I anticipated and the many seating areas and open concept were a great surprise. We were in town for a cycling event in Freeport, but all agreed we were lucky to have chosen this home in Topsham. The owners' recommendations were also spot-on, pointing us to the Sea Dog Brewery and Portland Pie. Thanks!

Nancy and Dulcie were extremely welcoming and greeted us warmly upon our arrival. Their home is lovely and exactly as described in their description. We were attending a wedding in the area and decided to make it into a mini family vacation. The space was extremely comfortable for the 5 of us. It was a perfect location to explore the many activities and beauty that Maine has to offer. Our wonderful hosts provided a detailed description of activities, dining etc. Mike and I plan to return again soon. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Nancy User ProfileNancy is a superhost.

My partner, Dulcie, and are are therapists, mothers, writers, and lovers of life in Maine. Between us we also cook, garden, pick up sticks in the yard, build things, and run a business called Wide Open Writing ((URL HIDDEN) which takes us to enchanting places in the world where we lead writing and yoga retreats. We've lived here for over thirty years, and although we love to travel, we're still thrilled to call this area home. Just about everything a person could want is within reach, and the house is surrounded by beautiful gardens and woods. We built the cabin as a writing retreat for ourselves, and then discovered that it was meant to be shared!
