Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.

Valley view

Soak up the view during your stay.
Self contained detached building behind our house, private entrance and
outside terrace with views over fields towards a distant sea. Peaceful with own parking place, and ten minutes walk to Portloe and the Southwest coastal path. Double bedroom with fridge, and tea making facilities.....separate wetroom, shower, w.c. and basin. 10 mins walk to pub and Veryan stores, quiet with little light pollution, great for star gazing! Fast wifi. No charge for dogs which are welcome! BBQ with coals.

The space
We are 5 minutes from Carne beach by car....and twenty minutes by foot. Outside you can sit and observe cows, sheep, horses, a variety of birds from Buzzards to Finches a
nd the occasional fox too. If the weather is inclement we provide free wifi and the mobile signal is very good.

Access by keycode, your own little garden with views over the fields towards the sea.

Other things to note
The tv is connected to the internet, just press the red button then the house button and the iplayers will pop up.....there is no aerial attatched. No smoking inside please. 2 rubbish bins inside, and 2 outside. Storage under the bed on both sides. Full length mirror on the bathroom door. Heating provided....but the towel rack is usually enough! The bed has a double mattress for extra comfort.

Neighbourhood highlights

There are only 8 houses in our road.....4 are holiday homes...the Hidden Hutch is at the rear of our garden away from the other houses, and from the front door you can walk down to a farm across a field and on to Portoe...pub, hotel and the coastal path without seeing a car....but you might encounter the odd tractor!
