i have very easygoing neighbours however i now find from previous groups staying that i must outline a code of conduct. so therefore noise has to be restricted from 10pm to be at an acceptable level. the house is great for friends to have a weekend away but not for hard partying. it is not acceptable to book the house and then invite others to come for a party. the booking is for the amount listed i.e. 6-8 persons only. any deviation from this and deductions will be made from the deposit accordingly. Late check out can be arranged and a fee of £50 will be charged.

Five of us had a great stay in this house, which is really nicely located near the South Downs Way, multiple pubs within county walking distance (around 45 minutes) and local vineyards. Charming cottage and a pleasant, communicative host.

Lisa's house is in a beautiful location, very quiet with the countryside on your doorstep! The house is large, quirky, with comfy beds and a beautiful garden. The caravan was an awesome extra! The kitchen and dining seating areas are really sociable. We had an excellent family break. We hope to visit again one day! Thank you

Lisa's house is fantastic! It's true to the pictures, & is spacious ,full of character, quirkiness, comfort & just has the loveliest vibe. We Highly recommend staying. Lisa was available, friendly & helpful. Our 3 children were especially charmed by all her clever decor, the piano, toasting marshmallows in the wood burner, the caravan in the garden & the apple & plum trees, & by the secret little path way to the incredibly unique & enchanting Blackberry Wood next door ( (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) it! although the website can't do it justice you have to experience it for yourself) Thank-you Lisa for a truly memorable 3 days & nights. We would absolutely stay again. We would also recommend the Half Moon Pub at Plumpton (fab food & service, lovely garden & outside eating area) And also popping to Brighton for the day ( only half an hours drive away)

Lisa is a kind host -- she stayed up late to accommodate our check-in and even left supplies for us to eat knowing that nothing would be open when we arrived. The residence itself is beautiful, situated amongst very picturesque countryside. Amenities are nearby and the kitchen is well equipped! Just don't run a slow-cook. Would highly recommend this accommodation to others.

Response from Lisa:
thank you daniel, i'm pleased you enjoyed your stay. like i said the slow cooking only needs to happen in an oven rather than bubbling on a stove top. however disaster averted so all good.

An absolutely gorgeous house. We were a group of friends heading to a festival in Brighton and this place was perfect for us. Very clean and quirky and Lisa was an amazing host. Loved our time there

I love living in this beautiful part of the Sussex countryside and having guests to stay. I have lived all over the world and really enjoy meeting new people. I can suggest lots of things to do whether it be walks, cafés, trips to brighton or perhaps just doing nothing but relaxing in the garden.
