Interaction with guests
Although I am of a talkative nature, it is up to you to decide how much interaction is right for you.
Feel free to ask as much as you want and don't worry if you are of a rather reserved character.
It is your time free, so you lead the dance.
And please keep in mind I do travel often, so there might be a few days when the house is all yours.
Other things to note
Enjoy your stay! And do not hesitate to write for more information ;-)
I expect my guests to live the space as if it was their own: enjoy it with as much pleasure and love as I had making it for you.
The only thing I would ask you would be to kindly enjoy the outdoors whenever you feel like smoking.
Welcome to my Airbnb page, it was made for you! :-) I hope you have much fun exploring it and get curious about Lisbon at its surroundings.
Let me introduce myself: my name is Sancho, I was born in 1973 (easier than telling you my age... it keeps changing every year! (laughter) ).
From very early on, I had the chance of meeting many interesting people from all sorts of different nationalities. As a child, I first attended a British School in Lisbon, and then a French one; I later moved on to Philadelphia for almost four years, and presently I share my time between sunny Lisbon and surprising The Hague (Netherlands).
As a traveler, I personally look for a complete immersion in different cultures and lifestyles, I like to feel the place I am in and to get lost in new surroundings. So, when life guided me to the Netherlands, I found out there were people willing to offer accommodation at their own house to guests from all over.
It so happened I had the chance to renew a late XVIII century house in Lisbon, so it soon became quite evident I wanted to share my luck with other people. I therefore included an old horse-house in the project to welcome and offer a unique experience to guests from all over the world.
Quite extrovert and curious about almost everything, I take a real pleasure in letting people know about my homeland, its culture, and places to visit.
So, do not hesitate to drop a line even if you are just curious to have some inside tips from Lisbon ;-)
Welcome to Portugal !
