Walid's apartment is exactly what you see in the pictures. Lots of bright open areas. His apartment is amazing and luckily enough he is too! This was my first stay in an AirBnb and needless to say he was very patient with me while messaging back and forth prior to booking the room. He was available to answer any questions I had and was able to provide me with any information I may have needed while exploring Beirut. Honestly, there isn't much else I can add that hasn't already been said in the other reviews listed on AirBnb because it's all true! Thank you Walid for everything and for making my trip as smooth as possible (especially after my terrible string of bad luck haha)

I came with not enough time to prepare my short stay. Luckily Walid was very helpful and welcoming. He gave me more inside information about how things work and where to go that I would ever expected! Definitely my best short trip ever. He even offered my a bike tour in the mountain and Beqqa Valley, or to the sea North up Beirut. He gave me all the tips for my visit to Tripoli. I thought I would spend lazy days in Beirut and ended with amazing siteseeing around Lebanon. After this, it really opened my curiosity for the Arab world and to see more in Lebanon!

Walid's apartment is a great start for exploring Beirut/ Lebanon! He arranged a driver from/ to the airport and the place felt like home immediately. Walid is very welcoming and happy to help you with travel advice, easy communication and the location of the apartment is perfect. Highly recommended!

Walid was very welcoming and a great host! I loved the neighborhood, just down the rainbow steps are lots of bars, restaurant, and shops. Walid was a great help in scheduling a taxi pickup from the airport to his place. I also recommend his suggestion of having guide Mohammed take you for a private tour to areas outside of Beirut.

Walid is a genuine person who treats his guest like his friends. During my stay we had some fun time together, I enjoyed our talk a lot. Apartment is spacious and clean located in a nice neighborhood full of hips cafe and bars. Overall was a pleasant and comfi experience, would definitely choose his place again when I visit next time.

My husband & I stayed at Walid's place 8 nights, using it as a base to explore Beirut and the rest of Lebanon. Walid is an awesome guy. Very chill and friendly and his friends are great. He also helped arrange a taxi for us to/from the airport and set us up with a great driver/guide for our day trips out of the city. The apartment itself is beautiful, bright and very spatious. Comfy bed. We loved the neighbourhood - it's quiet during the day while the main street is packed with hip bars and restaurants at night. I liked it much better than downtown Beirut and it's only an easy 20min walk to get there. The apartment itself is one street up, so it's also very quiet for sleeping. My only small issue is that the water pressure on the shower is quite low. I know Walid has tried to fix this, but it's hard in the older buildings. I have very long hair, so it's probably more of an issue for me than most people. Overall, we couldn't recommend this place enough! Thanks for everything Walid, hope to see you again soon!
