The space

The 120 sq meter is a loft in Paris near Canal Saint Martin and Place Sainte Marthe (typical parisian places), in a popular and nice area of the east bank. The loft is a small house with a garden, 2 floors (ground and basement with a veranda on the courtyard/garden). We live here with our 2 children (each one has his bedroom). During the summer, you will enjoy the couryard, fresh air and silent atmosphere. The house was design by an architect. This apartment is like a little house, away from the noise of the city. This is an open space to the garden : the open kitchen as in a bar and the living room open on the bedroom. Downstairs, there are my children bedrooms and the bathroom. Access : metro Goncourt (less than 5 minutes), Belleville (5mn), Republique (10mn), Claude Vellefaux (10mn). You are near nice areas such as the Marais, Bastille, Buttes Chaumont, la Villette.

Great location, in a very nice part of Paris. Very close to public transport and shops. In a nice area with a couple of cute restaurants and bars. Main bedroom was excellent. The two other rooms are children's rooms with small single beds. The house is very well styled. We had a great time there!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience staying in this place for 3 nights. The place is close to the center, safe and very close to subway stations but not crowded with tourists. We walked with little kids (they were on scooters) to the center and got back by metro. Great bakery next building, big grocery store right across the street. Our kids loved the apartment, enjoyed playing in the kids` bedrooms or in the courtyard. We had a small issue with a sewer pipe, but Veronique quickly responded and fixed the problem.

Location was okay as the metro was 5 min away and you have a mart just right in front. Place was quite spacious for 5 of us and sons enjoyed the downstair flat. All in all was good value. Thanks.

We had a very nice stay in this charming Parisian flat. It has it's signs of fair wear and tear with some raw elements such as the ground floor. But those details make it even more charming and combined with a very stylish design furniture it makes this place unique. The kitchen is very well equipped and we loved sitting at the kitchen table and have this great view into the trees outside by the huge window. If you want to experience the real Parisian live you are at the right place. The area 'Sainte Marthe' just in front of the house, Canal Saint Martin, Buttes Chaumont, Parc de la Viellette, are just some places where you won't find mass tourism. But still the touristic areas are not far away if you want to go there. We can recommend the dinner in the 'Flat Iron' in Rue Sainte-Marthe. We would like to come back in the summer when we can use the little private terrace outside :-)

To be honest, the pictures looked so nice that we thought they were a little bit cheated. But indeed, the place is just like this! We spend a week there with our 7 year old son and had a fabulous time. The two floors give you space enough to separate, if needed, and the little yard is a perfect place to have your glass of wine in the evening and even a cigarette. Right across the street you find a modern grocery store with everything you need, but you have also the good old little Paris coffee places close by to get your croissant in the morning. Our son specially enjoyed it to be at a place where kids are welcome. The neighborhood is not "touristy" though, but we did not miss that at all. We enjoyed the very colorful and vivid neighborhood, specially the asian area and the nice week market on Bd de Belleville. We did several walks to and along the canal and found even the famous "Hotel du Nord", which looks still a little like in the b/w movie from the late 30ies. The two hour boat trip on the canal passing several old watergates and a long tunnel (!) was a very special experience. Start at La Villette and end at the Seine, Musee d'Orsay. Several Metro stations are close by and you reach the Eiffel Tower and other famous Paris places in about 20 minutes. Overall a very enjoyable experience for all of us, and we would definitely love to stay again at that great place!

I leave in this place since 10 years, I love the place and the area near Place Sainte Marthe, canal saint martin or la villette. I leave here with my boyfriend and my two children, boy and girl. There is a court yard where we can chill out, eat or play. I love taking care of my plants, love inviting people and cooking for them and I love travelling abroad.
