The Old Chook Shed, Has a rustic charm & cosy feel about it. Great country views. Glamping gives that experience of camping with added luxury. Open space, BBQ, sun deck, indoor pot belly fire, nature walks, fruit picking when in season. Our farm pet goats, chooks, rooster, birds, dogs & cat.
Currently in process of building an outdoor play area for the kids to give you some free time while they play.

The space
Revive your soul, embrace nature and its natural beauty with long walks, Lazy afternoons ,open space, kid friendly. Enjoy the experience of bottle feeding our baby kid goats, Grab a book from the shelf and relax on the deck as the sunsets, BBQ dinners, The Shed is equipped with books, toys, dvds, games, Wii U console, TV with DVD player built in.
‘The Old Chook Shed’ has been converted into a glamping shack. Using recycled materials. So if your looking for hotel style accommodation that offers room service or Wi-Fi this may NOT be the place for you, but we can offer a great glamping experience. ( ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) CAMPING with lasting memories.
We are located in the Adelaide hills.
Our Shed is situated on a 60 acre block, In which we also live on the property. Our property is rugged and far from neat with fallen trees, steep hills, broken fences, rusty machinery. Our land has many stories to tell. Once mined for slate and gold by early settlers then used to farm fruit also hit by deverstating bush fires destroying alot of the property then it was left empty for many years to fend for it's self. Now slowly we are bringing it back to life, with big plans for the future
It's the perfect place to slow down, reconnect & appreciate what this stunning country has to offer from its beauty & many types of Australian wild life roaming night and day.

PLEASE NOTE
Playground at final stage of completiion guest can now use this area if you are under the age of 13 years old.
- The Toilet is an Out house along side the shed that is eco friendly composting toilet using saw dust no flushing water.
-Animals are very close to the shed to give guests a real farm feel. Currently we have 3 very hungry growing kid goats, they are super cute, but need extra attention and care while so young. The feeds are very regular and guests may see the host each feed if they are around. We apologise in advance for the extra disturbances this may have on any guests.

Two years ago myself, my husband and our two children, relocated back to our home town of Adelaide- after living in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast for about 8 years. Now living on a farm in the north/east side of town, my family and I have really started to find our feet- living a country lifestyle. Each day we have found ourselves learning something new and exciting. Throughout this time, we have started establishing gardens, saving old fruit orchards and clear the land that was once destroyed by bush fires. Whilst on this journey, my family and I have grown to love this lifestyle. Our love for the native land, animals and plants have inspired us to provide and accommodated others, to give the opportunity to have our experience and enjoyment.
