The historic house and its gardens have been lovingly restored and beautifully furnished with with a keen eye on period detail. The result is a charming and comfortable country house, the perfect base to explore the delights of the Peak District National Park

Peter is a great host. Lea Hurst is set beautifully in the Derbyshire countryside. The house is immaculate and tastefully furnished with many images and artefacts related to Florence Nightingale and her family. Thoroughly recommended.
