If you're wanting to have an extended stay in beautiful South Haven, Michigan, the Beach Bum House is a 2BR, 1B apartment just a few blocks to Lake Michigan beaches and quaint downtown. It is located on the 2nd floor of a century old duplex with its slightly unlevel floors and quirky doors. Recently updated it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Yard & Laundry are shared with owner. No smoking or vaping in the house, porch or gazebo.

Host, Deb will assure you have what you need.

The space
There are beach chairs, cooler, blanket, toys, reserved use of a golf cart (May-Oct) and a fenced back yard. The shared laundry is in the unfinished basement which is accessible by the door in the back of the foyer.

The Beach Bum House is walkable or a short drive to the beach and parks and 5 blocks from town where you’ll find great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. There are public parking lots and street parking downtown. There is street parking for South Beach as well as paid parking. North Beaches are paid parking, but the Beach Bum GolfCart has a Beach sticker, so you park for free. Every Wed & Sat the Farmer's Market is downtown from May through October. Then the Ice skating Rink goes up in its place Thanksgiving week. South Haven hosts several festivals throughout the year and is home of the Tall Ship, Friends Goodwill.
