We recently took the difficult decision to sell and move from our cherry farm "Stella Creek" in the Adelaide Hills to the seaside town south of Adelaide, Encounter Bay. An age-related decision called "retirement", a word I never use! I was Adelaide born and raised and my early career as a school teacher was spent in both country & city schools. Whilst raising three children I did many things the major career choice being Event Manager at the Adelaide Convention Centre - challenging, amazing & so enjoyable. With a husband in export we travelled to many countries but now happy just to travel within Australia most particularly visiting our son and family in Brisbane. Cherry farming was the highlight in later years but now our family and soon to be five grandchildren are our pride and joy!
