The Old Sir Walter Tyrrell House is a 4 bedroom detached property situated in the beautiful countryside of The New Forest National park. Sensitively and sustainably saved from dereliction, it is now a luxurious place for friends and family to relax.
The main house sleeps 8 persons, if you are a group of 10 there is also a totally self contained luxury shepherds hut in the garden (rented separately), ideal for parents, grandparents, au pairs or anyone looking for a separate space for 2 persons
The space
A Luxury hotel-style experience for holidays with friends or a relaxing family gathering.
The ground floor is open plan - a lounge area with cosy woodburning stove, two big sofa's and a loveseat, a dining area with a stunning large vintage dining table for 8/10.
A fabulous, bespoke, well-equipped kitchen with large island, induction hob and 3 ovens which should satisfy even the most aspiring chefs!
There's a snug/TV area with Netflix, DVD player, and bluetooth speaker. A separate utility area with 2 dishwashers means you won't waste any time washing up. The house is perfect for socialising and spending quality time with your friends and family
Upstairs there is sleeping for 8 In 4 bedrooms plus a cot. The gorgeous dual aspect large master room has a superking size sleigh bed and open forest views. This room has its own ensuite with bath and separate shower.
An equally lovely second double has a kingsize bed and a luxurious ensuite (large walk in shower),
Bedrooms 3 & 4 can be set up as either kingsize doubles (perfect for couples) or twins (ideal for the kids or groups of friends). These two rooms have use of a great family bathroom with bath and shower
Outside the property has a large south facing terrace with lounge and dining furniture, freestanding hammock, a Weber charcoal BBQ (don't forget to bring your lumpwood and firelighters!) and a lawned garden all looking out over the open forest, where you will see ponies, donkeys, deer and cattle on a daily basis.
If you need to accommodate 10 people, why not add in our beautiful, luxury, en suite shepherds hut in the garden. Equipped with kingsize bed, beautiful ensuite and kitchen its a perfect place for another couple to stay.
Guest access
The Old Sir Walter Tyrrell House is a detached property with private off road parking for 5 cars (more cars can be parked in the pub next door). Guests can offload at the front door and then park on our private drive. Guests will have the use of the whole house which is laid out over two floors.
Other things to note
We can offer additional services such as
-a professional chef to come in and prepare a bespoke meal for you and your party, to a set price and menu agreed with yourselves.
-We can also recommended places to hack out on horseback,
- Mountain or road bikes,
- Kayak excursions down the Beaulieu river,
- organise a spa day.
Just ask and if its available locally - we will endeavour to assist.

The New Forest is a wonderful unique national park on the south coast of England. It has many pretty villages, towns and a coastline that is great for walking, cycling, horse riding and spotting the ponies, cows and donkeys that live here and roam free. The house is located in a picturesque rural setting but also close to 3 local pubs, and a short distance from local shops and attractions.

Im lucky enough to live in the beautiful New Forest and can often be found cycling the length and breadth of this place, walking on the beach or jogging around the tracks with Rollo my faithful Border collie.
