Interaction with guests

I live in the flat with my girlfriend, Hannah.

We love giving recommendations to our guests, if needed, while they are staying with us, especially when it comes to where to eat, drink and shop.

We work during regular hours on weekdays and have fairly active social lives so I won't necessarily be around in evenings. If you're happy doing your own thing, we totally respect that, though we're also more than happy to share a glass of wine with you if we're about.

The neighbourhood

'Stokey' (as locals call it) is a village with its own special identity and filled with boutiques, eateries, bars and pubs. It's the perfect place to rest and recover after a busy day out sightseeing.

Spend an afternoon browsing the vintage shops, eat a traditional British lunch at The Prince (the fantastic pub just down the road) and then go for a stroll in Clissold Park, complete with its deer, lakes and tennis courts.

At night, you're only a short walk to Dalston where all the cool kids hang out until the wee hours.

Getting around

Stoke Newington is conveniently located in zone 2 and offers easy access to the rest of London.

The 73 bus stop is just round the corner, which takes you straight into Oxford Circus. The 73 runs all night so no need to pay for expensive taxis anywhere.

Stoke Newington rail station is a 10 minute walk away. From there you can catch a 15 minute train ride to Liverpool Street and the delights of Shoreditch.

All of these transport links means there's no need for a tube station (Stoke Newington itself isn't on the underground system) but Manor House (Picadilly Line) is about 15 minutes walk away.

Free parking is about a 15 minute walk away.

It's a nice place and well hosted. We really liked the area it was in too.

I had a great time at Jayme's place. Everything is as same as the description, lots of cafes and restaurants surround by and the location is near the public transport. Besides, Jayme and Hannah are both very nice and easy going, they are an awesome host I've ever met before.

Jayme's place is better than the photos. I could live there myself. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is spotless and very nice. The location offers a lot of good food choices (like the Good Egg and Stokey Bears). Fun Main Street to walk down in the mornings. Travelling to London will take you about 30-45 minutes either by walking to tube, or by taking an uber, but this place is worth the value. Jayme and Hannah were great hosts and made us feel at home. I was happy to see towels, a hair dryer and plug converter! I would stay here again!

Lovely bright and airy bedroom that's bigger than we expected. Big bathroom too. Both rooms were exceptionally clean. Location was perfect for us as we were visiting family in Stoke Newington. I didin't get to meet Jayme as he was away for the weekend, but my husband met him briefly and said he was very nice. I can highly recommend this Airbnb, and hope to stay there again. Thanks Jayme !

I dont think anyone can find a better place to rest after walking around all day in london. Jayme's flat is all we needed. It is extremely clean, multiple cafes and restaurants nearby, and close to a bus station making it easy to travel.

Jayme's place was great! Everything was there when I check in. A very brief of explanation are given before check in. Besides, Jayme's place also near to public transport. Easier to get breakfast in the morning and a lot of nice cafe around there

I'm Jayme, from London. In no particular order, I like sushi, wine, cooking, eating, electronic music, technology and dusting off my backpack for adventures. I loathe tourist traps when I travel so I look forward to sharing real, local London with you.
