Have your family gathering, retreat, or getaway at a former hotel with bar and small restaurant. 6 rooms with shared bathrooms and shower. pool table. 50 min from Winnipeg on hwy 15 in elma. close to river for fishing & tubing. VIA rail stop 100m.
If you ever wanted to have your own bar to celebrate in, this is it.
Elma has a grocery store (liquor too) and one other restaurant, 2 gas stations and a beautiful flowing river fairly shallow for fishing, swiming and tubing.
Bar area (capacity of 50 people)
2 Pepsi coolers to keep your drinks and pizzas cool.
6 rooms upstairs
a dinning area (aprox 15-20 people)
small kitchen with grill, deep fryer and pizza oven (to only be used by approved persons)
and outside fire pit area
and plenty of storage areas if you have bikes or other gear
Interaction with guests
i will provide a walk through of the building and can be avail to cook and or serve drinks to your guest (u provide drinks and food)
and will do a walkthrough at end to ensure no damage or cleaning is needed. also willing to pickup and drop off anywhere in city or airport for a neg. extra fee.
Other things to note
the rooms are basic with only a matteress or sleeping pad with a clean sheet in each room and a dressor or night stand.
so guest should bring a sleeping bag and pillow
I encourage you to feel comfortable as in your own home and allow:

Smoking inside (please only use ashtrays not cups or bottles and dont smoke in bed its a hazard) Winnipeg has been smoke free in all public places, restaurants and bars for many years, so this is about the only Private Bar you can smoke inside.
You are free to use any dishes and glasses but please wash anything used and please let me know before hand if you need pots and pans and I can provide more then the basics that are there.
After your stay I hope to only have to clean washrooms, sweep/vacum floors and wipe down and reorganise tables if any are moved.

Im a gatherer and make wine from things suchs as : apples, rhubarb, hisbiscus, raspberries and saskatoon(service) berries.
Im happy to share my local and global knowledge specially if its over a glass of my wine!
