Our quinta is ideal for birdwatchers, nature lovers, hikers, cyclists and peace seekers. At 5 Km away from the quinta is the authentic village of Castelo de Vide with its Jewish quarter, Fort, small food and drinks and mini supermarkets. The fortified town of Marvao is 20 km away from Quinta do Pomarinho. There is also a Praia Fluvial (dammed river) where you can enjoy swimming in the summer. And Portalegre is 17 km away, where you can go to many large supermarkets for all your groceries.
