The Millennium Tower is a unique architect designed building commissioned to celebrate the year 2000. The building has 7 sides for seven days of the week and 4 floors for four seasons. There is a small spiral staircase in the pepper pot top providing access to the roof terrace which is surrounded by a tree canopy of chestnut, oak and birch. The tower is located in 14 acres of deciduous woodland a short distance from the Market Town of Woodbridge. It provides an ideal base to explore the area.

The space
The Tower is nestled in the middle of the woodland down a wide ride which is car friendly and if you are somebody who enjoys trees and woodland then this enchanting predominantly chestnut wood will surely make you smile.
The woodland is for your use exclusively. The proximity to nature is about as close as you could get without sleeping al fresco. The plantation is alive with vertebrates and invertebrates and in the season a huge variety of flora and fauna including chestnuts, bluebells and fungi.
Built 20 years ago by a local builder using 20,000 white bricks and green oak beams which support solid oak floors. The staircase winds its way up the 4 floors which consist of a compact Bathroom & WC, Kitchen, Sitting room and bedroom. The small spiral staircase leads from the bedroom to the roof. The rooms are unusual in shape with the staircase rising through each room so there is additional storage space available in one of the forestry sheds for bikes golf clubs and fishing rods.

Other things to note
Winter Bookings PLEASE READ – It is very important to realise that Suffolk may have one of the lowest rainfalls in the whole of the UK with just 25” annually however it does get some serious icy blasts of cold weather in the winter months. Many will recall the “Beast from the East” when temperatures dropped to minus 15 degrees and in some parts suffered up to 20” of snow. Whilst The Millennium Tower has got heating and the windows double glazed each room has SEVEN external walls and its only entrance is the double doors directly into the kitchen. It is therefore important that our guests do not imagine The Millennium Tower is the similar internal temperature to that of a modern London hotel room which may have just one external wall. We do provide additional mobile oil heaters to back up and supplement the main heating but strongly recommend that you bring warm clothing and if you like a hot water bottle bring it along. The king size duvet has a high tog rating to keep you toasty warm. In addition we suggest it will help if you close all the window blinds and curtains when dusk arrives and minimize the time the main door is left open. If there is a warning of snow it will probably be best to park up near the Bealings Road as the track is quite long and could become blocked and slippery. In addition to warm clothing we suggest adequate winter footwear/boots and woolly socks are strongly recommended.
