Hello! We're Emily & George, we both work in TV and we rent out our flat when we go away. We used to live in Camberwell (see reviews on other listing), but have recently moved.

Built in 1893, it's a ground floor Georgian conversion which we've recently renovated. The flat is located on a quiet residential street on the edge of beautiful Burgess park and close to central London. It's a mixed, vibrant area, and our road itself recently featured in a book on Britain's most historic streets!

The space
We're on the raised ground floor of a quiet residential street with one bedroom at the front, and the other at the back. Both bedrooms are a good size with a queen size bed, characterful wooden shutters, a full length mirror and lots of storage.

We've got a well equipped kitchen with a five-hob cooker, dishwasher, big fridge and concrete island for all food prep. There's also lot of spices which you're welcome to help yourself to.

In the living space we've got a big sofa, armchair, 32 inch tv which has Netflix, BBC iPlayer and Now TV, and lots of books!

The bathroom has a cast iron bath and separate walk in shower, and there's an airing cupboard with a washer/dryer.

Guest access
The whole flat.

Other things to note
We're on the raised ground floor of an old building with neighbours above & below who both have kids. Everyone is super reasonable and respectful but this is not a party flat. It also means you will sometimes hear noise from above. If you're very sensitive to noise this might not be the place for you!

Location

Greater London, England, United Kingdom

We love where we live. Our road is a little oasis with no through traffic setback from the bustling Old Kent Road which is one of London's most diverse areas.

On foot we're near:
- Burgess Park - big London park with a lake, tennis courts and great running routes. 5 mins
- Diogenes the Wine bar, local and excellent wine bar - 5 mins
- Crol Coffee shop for breakfast - 5 mins
- The Huntsman & Hound pub. Small, local and pub quiz on Wednesdays - 5 mins
- Bermondsey Arches for Saturday breakfast. Monmouth for great coffee, Little Bread Pedlar for excellent pastries and bread, and Kernel Brewery for the best beer in London - 15 min walk.
- Bermondsey Street with all its galleries, bars and restaurants. (Pique nique is our favourite) - 20 min walk and right by London Bridge!
- The Southbank - National Theatre, Tate Modern, BFI and loads of great food and drink - 15 min bus direct.

Hello, I'm 25 years old and work in TV. I love to explore, and am so excited to travel when I get the chance. I used to live in Argentina, and have a particular soft spot for all things Latin American. I speak French and Spanish so try and put my languages into practice when I can. Back at home in London, food, cinema and music all make me happy. I'd like to see myself as laid back, open minded and always up for new things.
