A lovely beautifully decorated cottage in a picturesque and very quiet setting, surrounded by the Border Esk river, hills and woods. Whether you enjoy a book by the fire, a walk along the river or would like to explore the area - all the comfort is included. Families and pets are welcome - there is a lot of space to walk and run and even a tree house for the kids to have lots of fun!

The space
A very comfortable accommodation for 6, three bedrooms (superking and twin beds), 2 separate bathrooms with baths and showers (hairdryers provided). A spacious fully equipped kitchen with a large dining table, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, as well as washer/dryer. A cosy living room with a fireplace (logs provided), table games and a small library. Outside terrace for BBQs when it's warm (table, chairs, parasol, bbq). Private parking. WI-FI. TV. Bluetooth speaker.

The area has plenty to offer both for nature as well as culture and history lovers - Sir Walter Scott Home, stunning Drumlanrig Castle, plenty of botanical gardens, children entertainment etc within 1 hour proximity. Hadrian's Wall and Vindolanda Museum - do not miss on Romans! Hawick - the wool and cashmere capital only 30 min away. Stunning sunset views from Langholm Moors. Tibetan Buddhist Centre (largest in Europe) only half an hour away. Kielder Astronomical Observatory with fascinating lectures and a look out to space through the telescope. (book in advance).
Local town of Langholm is only 5 min drive and offers cafes, pharmacy, supermarket etc. Langholm is famous for hosting The Langholm Common Ride Feast in July.
