If you bring your dog, beware. Don't leave them out by themsleves especially at sunrise, or sunset, or after dark. There are coyotes and bear and all kinds of great wild creatures out there that may enjoy a bite of Fido...PLUS CRESTONE NOW HAS A LEASH LAW. (Oh man!)
Trash will be picked up after you leave, due to heavy bear activity in the area. So please double bag any full bags of trash and leave them in the laundry room for pick up once you leave.
Because Crestone doesn't have a recycling service yet, please seperate your recycables and either bag them up and take them home to recycle, or please stick a note on them that they're 'recycables' and we'll bring them down to Denver next time we're up.

Please load all dishes, even if the load is quite small, and turn on the DW before you leave.

If you'd like to help streamline the cleaning process, please feel free to strip your beds and start a load of laundry if there's a quick guest turn-over.

Finally, please treat our home like you would want your home to be treated. If you spill something please wipe it up. If you use up something, please replace it for the next guest. We love this home and hope that you and your's will love it too.

Please, NO SMOKING inside! The deck outside is a great place to smoke with awe-inspiring views.

This is a great home for events with family and friends. Please enjoy yet be respectful.

Cheers! Becky & Ryan

A quiet and serene location close to the town of Crestone. The home is comfortably-furnished with a well-equipped kitchen. We appreciated the cleanliness and felt right at home. The master bath is very large with a good selection of products, and the deck is perfect for evening gatherings around the fire pit. Crestone is an interesting place with some yummy food options. We especially liked the creamery and brewery. Hiking to Zapata Falls and visiting the Great Sand Dunes National Park were highlights. Becky and Ryan followed up very quickly with any questions, and offered many suggestions for activities and food options. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful home with an even better view. We enjoyed just walking around the property studying the cactus and succulents that grow there. The beds are cozy, the home has a beautiful cross breeze that makes the home so comfortable. Great location to be able to enjoy both Crestone and the Dunes.

These are the nicest people ever. Great communication and fast responses. The house has such a beautiful view and it was a great place for me and my four friends to stay. It was within a decent distance of the sand dunes and some hot springs so we had things to do. Loved it so much!!

Becky and Ryan have a lovely home in Crestone. Communicating with Becky was super-easy and directions to their place were spot-on. Comfortable home with huge kitchen and nice deck area. We went during unusually hot weather day and night so was hard to cool the house down; otherwise, it was a nice place to experience Crestone with great tips for sight-seeing and food.

Becky and Ryan's place is wonderful to get away from it all. We had a family wedding at the greenhouse of the Hooper Hot Springs pool and the house was a perfect accommodation for 6 of our family members. We loved watching the deer stroll by and check us out in the late afternoon.

Enjoyed fully! Beautiful, open space with everything needed (except toilet paper in the hallway bathroom). Thank you for the suggestions as well! Saturday was a full day with Zapata Falls, A picnic & water fun at the Sand Dunes followed by the sunset from the Tashi Gomang Stupa. We left at 11am on Sunday and visited a fun shop in the heart of Crestone before leaving for home. We'd love to do this again and would definitely recommend!!!!!!

Becky & Ryan User ProfileBecky & Ryan is a superhost.

Ryan & I fell in love w the sublime beauty of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range and the beauty of the Crestone 14ers that surround our home. There's nothing finer then a walk along any of Crestone's many creeks to relax and shake off the stress and fast pace of our urban lives in Denver.
Our favorite things to do in Crestone: 1. Watch for the warm red alpen glo color that often bathes the mountains during sunset. 2. Take a blanket and a glass of wine and sit outside on dark nights under a full palette of stars, enjoying the awesomeness of the Milky Way and the thrill and chill of getting to witness shooting stars. 3. Packing a lunch or snacks, then heading to one of the many hiking trails for a short or long hike. Then lolly gagging next to one of the creeks on our way down, while we enjoy ourselves and our food, creek side.
