It's a pity Sheela didn't make a call immediately to tell me there was a problem with the boiler, but just the other day. It really was bad luck because in the morning before Sheela's arrival, my hostess cleaned the rooms, and there still was warm water. Sheela arrived on monday in the afternoon and phoned me only on tuesday in the afternoon. There was little time left to solve the problem, because the plumber works till 17.00 pm. I dealt this case adequate. First my hostess came to have a look, after that (at 16.00) I phoned the plumber. It is not true that Sheela had to stay at home to wait for a telephone call from the plumber and so she didn't. She and her friend went out for a dinner and in the meantime the plumber came to solve the problem. He could take the key of our pension from our neighbours, as he used to do. So Sheela isn't telling the truth. Besides, Sheela and I communicated by a mobile phone, and with a mobile phone you don't have to stay at home at all.
The next day Sheela sent me an e-mail and asked me if it was possible to stay till 14.00 instead of 12.00. I wrote her this wasn't possible because I expected other guests. Sheela ignored my answer and the next day she and her friend were certainly in bed and the room was still full of their luggage. Of course our hostess was friendly, she is a professionel. But she had to go around for two hours in town and of course I had to pay her for this. It wasn't polite of the guests to stay any longer without permission.
The next day, there still was warm water. The plumber had fixed it and the problem was definitively solved. So I'm really very sorry there was a problem with the boiler. But we solved this exceptional problem as fast as we could (within two hours!) and I think it's important to stay honest about the situation. With kind regards,
