Apartment Bouton d'or is located in a beautiful hilly landscape. Where the town hall used to be, there are now comfortable box springs for a good night's sleep.
You'll love my place because of the beautiful views of the meadows with standard fruit trees, but you're also in Maastricht, Liege, Spa or Aachen in half an hour.

The space
Apartment Bouton d'Or is a sunny studio with its own toilet, bathroom, simple kitchen, dining area and reading corner.
Two comfortable single box springs guarantee a good night's sleep. The beds are also easy to connect to a double bed. The studio is located on the first floor of Mille Fleurs.

From Bouton d'Or apartment, you have a view over the meadows with standard fruit of the Voerstreek.
The beds are freshly made before arrival, and bath and kitchen towels are also provided. A warm welcome awaits you thanks to the Nespresso and the kettle with a number of coffee cups and tea bags.

In the kitchen, everything is provided to prepare a nice breakfast or a simple meal with a two-burner gas stove, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a microwave with a grill and a small air fryer.

To make your stay more pleasant, luxury and nature-friendly products are available: a delicious hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and soothing shower gel.

The apartment features WiFi and a 32” Smart TV with cable connection.

Outside there is ample parking and a garden where you can use the terrace and lawn with beautiful views of the rolling countryside and the castle of the Commanderie. You can also store your bike there and use the barbecue in consultation with the other guests. You can also store your bike from March to October in our lockable bike shed at the back of the garden.

What you should definitely have seen is the trout farm in the castle canals at the neighbors. And don't forget to stop by the farm for homemade apple and pear syrup.

Aachen, Liège, Spa and Maastricht are about 1/2 hour drive from Mille Fleurs, so also an ideal base for a city visit.

Surrounded by peace and quiet, as a nature lover, you will discover the most beautiful gems. Do you like variety or a more lively atmosphere? In no time, you can look up the dynamics of the city. Hello, lovely to meet you! We are Rogier and Fleur Receveur-Payens. In 2003, Fleur moved to live in the Voer-region in a beautiful house that used to function as the village school and town hall. From day one, she began restoring the site with absolute dedication to and respect for its historical value. We have always enjoyed welcoming people to our home. We love seeing people enjoy the stunning environment and this amazing house where everyone feels at home. We also love walking with our children in the surrounding area. We drop by on our neighbours to cuddle the calves and kittens and see the syrup being prepared with fruit from the local trees. The trout farm is also a favourite, possibly because you can also have a nice bite to eat. There are many restaurants in the local area where you can enjoy regional products such as vineyard snails, cheese and syrup. You can also taste the delicious wine from the Voer-region hills. After many years of renovation, we realised our dream with guest house ‘Mille Fleurs’. Mille Fleurs literally means "a thousand flowers" in French and refers to the background which was used in Medieval wall hangings which incorporated numerous embroidered flowers and plants. These flowers and plants fill up the gap between the figures that played the main roles on the wall hangings. That is, essentially, what we wish to achieve with Mille Fleurs; adding an experience to your life, in an enriching setting that surrounds you with beauty. We hope to see you soon in Mille Fleurs.
