In a Plein Air, camping and nature are intrinsically linked. The modern and comfortable interiors spill out onto large, bespoke terraces immersed in nature.

With views of the valley and surrounds, the 4 x Plein Airs are situated on the of edge of the campsite, away from the main reception, bar, pool and playground. It’s about a 20 second walk to the facilities, close enough to be handy but far enough to feel as if you are away from it all.

The space
Glamping has never been easier! Just turn up and unpack. No need to share facilities as each chalet has its own bathroom, toilet and kitchen.

The Plein Airs feature an open plan kitchen (with family fridge, ceramic hob and microwave), a spacious and flexible living area, master bedroom with a double bed (160cm x 200cm), second bedroom with a bunk bed (2 x singles) plus a trundle pull-out bed under (80cm x 200cm). There is a large family shower room and separate WC.

Both bedrooms are large enough to accommodate a baby cot if necessary.

All Plein Air chalets have fenced in gardens, covered terraces, barbecues and outdoor decking and seating. Each chalet also has a luxurious family-sized hammock.

Please note! There is a communal TV (French/UK) in the Cosy Nook Cafe. Token operated washing and drying machines are available in the camping sanitary block. The pool is shared.

The beauty about the Plein Airs are that they offer absolute privacy if that's what you prefer with the bonus of mingling if you are feeling more social. The Plein Airs are super popular amongst our returning guests for their ease and comfort, which offer the best of both worlds.

Breakfast is available daily, you need only order your croissants or baguette a day in advance. Your order is fresh and ready to collect with a cappucino or choco chaud in the morning.

If you feel like absorbing the atmosphere, we invite you to take a glass of local wine at the Cosy Nook, lounge on a daybed, take in the great music and laid back vibe. Everyone is welcome! Immerse yourself in the heartbeat of Mathevies.

Food trucks pop up nightly in July and August.

Guests are welcome to make full use of the pool, tennis, petanque and play areas, all is at your disposal.

Other things to note
Pets: we welcome pets however we also recognise the importance of providing all following guests with a pet and allergy free environment.

As such, there is a supplementary fee of 6€ per day if you wish to bring your dog.
Please confirm if you are bringing a pet at time of booking indicating the race and age etc.

We will send you a secure payment request via Airbnb in advance of your stay.

Dogs must have their own bed and are not permitted on the furniture or on the beds. They must be accompanied by the guest at all times and must not be left alone in the house.

Dogs are not permitted in the swimming pool area and must be kept on a lead when on the campsite.

The environment is not recommended for cats as there are dogs on site as well as protected wildlife. Cats may be brought at the responsibility of the guest. If you wish to bring a cat they are not permitted on the furniture or bedding.

The same rate of 6€ per day applies and payment must be made in advance.
Cats must have their own bed and are not permitted on the furniture or on the beds. They must be accompanied by the guest at all times and must not be left alone in the house unless closed in a cage.
