The space

Beautiful 20 sq.m. room in a 120 sq.m. shared apartment in the center of Berlin's alternative district - Wrangelkiez in Kreuzberg. 5 min walk from Metro U1 Schlesisches Tor. Live 10secs near one of the coolest parks - Görlitzer Park- 10min walk to 2 rivers that cross through the city. Lick your lips with diverse and delicious foods: authentic german, turkish, spanish, mexican, thai, vietnamese, indian foods- all on the same street. Berlin's hippest venues and clubs are at walking distance: Berghain, Club der Visionäre, Arena, Watergate- if getting sweaty in nightclubs is your thing. Or just relax at the sunny terraces of a hundred cafés in the area.
When you're ready for a nap, or some cool afternoon love, retreat to the bright and cosy room. Through the two large windows, which can be opened all the way, you have a view of one of Berlin's oldest churches which is a few meters from the sill of the window. There are a comfy bed of 1,20m with a a side tabl, a desk, a shelf and a clothes' stand. Apart from myself there is living my lovely Italian flatmate Gabriele (m.) in the flat at the moment.

Desiree’s private room was ideal for my trip to Berlin. The room itself is very large, with a big desk, a wardrobe and comfortable bed. The mosquito net over the window enables you to open it, and the room remains cool throughout the heatwave. The kitchen and bathroom are very cl…

Desiree's place is very nice, quiet and convenient. She's also very helpful during my stay. I woud recommend it to my friend who visits Berlin.

Great location, lots of bars, restaurants within one block's walking distance. However it was far enough away that the place is still quiet. Very convenient for public transport too. A couple of areas for improvement however: - I am somewhat put out by having to pay a cleanin…

I am a self-employed consultant to (mainly) foreigners buying real estate in Berlin. My castle is your castle ;) - I often work from home but I am also out a lot. I am curious to meet new people and enjoy a good dinner with friends as well as a spontaneous open air party or a wee…
