'Anny' is a gorgeous 1930 classic sailing ship moored in Charlestown Harbour, Cornwall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for appearances in a host of film and TV productions such as Poldark, David Copperfield, Dr Who and Taboo.

Fully heated and very comfortable, Anny provides unique accommodation for up to 8 in a historic setting. Perfect for a memorable romantic getaway or a stylish break with friends or family. Prices include VAT at the prevailing rate.

The space
Ever dreamt of a life on the ocean waves, sailing the seven seas? You can enjoy the spirit of that life on Anny! Up to 8 of you can experience a comfortable taster of living aboard ship from the safety and convenience of the Harbour (we promise not to untie the mooring lines!).

Once you have sampled life aboard you may want to test your sea legs for real. Ask about upcoming day sails and cruises on this stunning vessel.

Anny is cosy and sociable with heating throughout and high quality 100% cotton bedsheets. You will enjoy your stay whatever the weather! The ship's deck provides your own private waterfront terrace: savour the unforgettable views of Charlestown Harbour and the visiting ships with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. The most atmospheric outdoor space for miles around!

Anny has a comfortable saloon/ galley area with 2 bunk beds, a large dining table, fully working kitchen with fridge, gas hobs, electric oven, double sink and all the cutlery, crockery and cookware you might need. We will provide you with all the necessaries for breakfast aboard, including coffee, tea, milk, juice, bread, pastries, fruit and yoghurts. If you would like to make yourself a cooked breakfast let us know and we can ensure the fridge is stocked with bacon and eggs too!

The ship has a shower room with toilet adjacent to the saloon. NOTE: the toilet system requires pumping out daily to an external tank. This must be done by a member of staff. To ensure social distancing is maintained, we request that you vacate the boat, or move to a different area of the boat, at 3pm each day for an hour so that this can be completed safely. Our member of staff will wear full PPE whilst completing this. Apologies for any inconvenience. If you wish to rearrange the timing of this do let us know and we'll do what we can.

Master cabin with double bunk and the option of an additional pull-down single bunk. The master cabin has its own washbasin.

Forward cabin with separate access. This cabin is cosy but has three single bunks and a storage area.

Other things to note
We are committed to providing safe accommodation in line with Government guidelines regarding Coronavirus. With this in mind please observe the following rules:

Anny has a shared saloon and access, and so is only appropriate for a single household group. Please don't make a booking for multiple household units to stay together until social distancing guidelines have been formally relaxed.

Charlestown can be busy during the summer, and we request that you observe social distancing rules. The section of quayside where Anny is moored will be cordoned off in order to ensure you have safe and distanced access to your accommodation. Please take care of yourselves and others during your stay.

The whole ship will be deep-cleaned before your arrival. We do request that you wipe down surfaces with the cleaning products provided before your departure, to help us ensure the safety of our crew.

Please also read and sign our 'Coronavirus: Having a Safe and Enjoyable Stay' document which you'll find on board when you arrive.

Should the Government amend their guidance we reserve the right to amend our house rules on this basis.

Thank you!

During your stay
A member of the ship's crew will be available throughout your visit. Usually they would stay in their own separate accommodation at the back of the boat, however whilst social distancing is still enforced, they will be staying aboard another boat nearby in the harbour, and can be called on if you have any issues. In order to maintain safe social distancing, we will send you a video tour of the vessel before you arrive, which details where you can park, where to find the keys, all of Anny's features and how to operate everything. If you have any questions or concerns there will be someone in the harbour throughout your stay who can help you. We will send you their contact details before you arrive.
