The Tiny House is perfect if you are looking for a stylish getaway (or simply a place to stay) without interacting with other guests or staff. We offer a self-contained unit with its own access and fenced-in yard. For your safety, we are putting buffer days between all bookings to protect our guests, & taking extra precautions by deep-cleaning & disinfecting all surfaces/bedding/etc. after each stay. We want everyone to stay healthy! Enjoy fun tiny house living in the heart of Marion village.

The space
This is a really special place! Brand new and stylish, with a downstairs living/dining area of 350 square feet, a small upstairs sleep loft with a queen size bed, and a sofa in the living area that folds out to a twin bed. We can also set up a travel crib for small children. The downstairs bathroom features a good-size shower, as well as a washer/dryer, and we provide shampoo & conditioner, hand soap and body lotion. Fresh linens, pillows, extra blankets and towels are also included. A mini-split A/C cools the house in the summer, and works as a heater during colder days. The 50-inch smart TV has access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, as well as cable. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction stove, a microwave, a dishwasher, a full-size fridge and freezer, pots, pans, cooking and baking tools, and lots of dishes. For business travelers, there is an iron and an ironing board to get ready for your day. Listen to your music on our blue tooth speaker, or enjoy the birdsong in the yard. There are windows all around, and French doors open out to your own private yard with a flagstone patio (with a dining table, a barbecue, hammock and lounging galore). Please be aware that the sleep loft is accessed via a space-saving staircase with alternating treads and sturdy handrails on both sides. The sleep loft itself is small and low (ceiling height is about 5ft.) but super cozy, with a window overlooking the yard. A ceiling fan adds extra ventilation to the loft. The location is perfect -- so close to the marina, the Arts Center, Tabor Academy, and the gems of downtown Marion, Kate´s Simple Eats and the General Store. We provide free guest passes to the clean, quiet town beach, which is a quick drive or bike ride away. Bring your bikes and explore! This is a private getaway in one of the nicest towns down by the bay -- old New England at its best.

Guest access
You have a brand-new Tiny House all to yourself! It has a private entrance, a private, fenced-in courtyard with a patio and a gas-powered barbecue grill, as well as one off-street parking space. While the Tiny House is attached to the main house, the two units are completely separate, and have their own bathrooms, kitchens, living areas and outside spaces. The space you rent is entirely your own! Please respect the privacy of the year-round tenants living in the main house - they are not involved in running the AirBnB -, and please don´t access their yard. Thank you!

Other things to note
The main house is rented out to year-round tenants. We ask that you respect their privacy, and don´t approach them with questions or issues. They are not involved in running the AirBnb! Thank you!

Location

Marion, Massachusetts, United States

Marion is a marvelous, classic New England town, famous for Tabor Academy and for its beautiful marina with regattas to the Caribbean. It has a true village feel, and is very walkable/bikable with a post office, cute little lunch spot and old-timey general store. Very safe, very pretty, very traditional!
There is a nice local beach, and you can stroll through the side streets enjoying lovely homes and their beautiful gardens. The Arts Center, town library and town hall are just around the corner. You can walk down half a block and treat yourself to an ice-cream at Sea Dips ice-cream parlor. If you bring kids, they can use the elementary school playground at the end of the street whenever school is out. The Edaville family amusement park (great for younger kids) is a 20-minute drive away, as is the Water Wizz waterpark in Wareham. To go hiking or biking, check out nearby Miles Standish State Park with its trails, beautiful forests and ponds (two of which are open to day visitors, so bring your bathing suits).
Also, you can take quick trips to beachy Onset with its Cape Canal cruises, go golfing, enjoy beautiful Horseneck Beach, take the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, or explore pilgrim tradition in Plymouth. If you want the Cape without the bridge traffic, this is your town!

I love New England and its beautiful seaside towns, beaches and marshes. When I was younger, I traveled all over the world, which makes me appreciate having a beautiful home even more. My hobbies are definitely architecture and interior design - I love creating beautiful, relaxed and friendly spaces where people can enjoy themselves, their families and friends! This is the first dwelling I designed with AirBnB in mind, and I hope people will like the space I created. Let me know If there is anything we can do better!
