This modern cabin has lots of glass and 16 foot ceilings. Shady and cool at 6800 ft. in a quaint village at the end of the road, peace and quiet abound. There are no nearby stores or restaurants, you should bring your own food. Tap water is fine for drinking. Great hiking right out the door , a private lake nearby and Giant Sequoias all around you! The cabin is in Giant Sequoia National Monument, Sequoia National Park is a 3 hour drive.

Sequoia Crest is a very special community and Mark's cabin is just perfect for some peace and connection with nature. I almost don't want to give such a great review because then the cabin will always be booked! Haha. I didn't drive the entire weekend I was there and decided to j…

Such a peaceful location! The neighborhood is truly stunning with sequoia trees right outside the door. There is great hiking nearby, but you could easily spend the entire day sitting on the deck staring at the nature that surrounds the cabin. We had a wonderful stay and would lo…

Marks place is absolutely stunning and secluded. It was the perfect romantic vacation for me and my BF. We especially loved having No cell service or wifi! Mark had a little radio and tv with DVD player where we watched a wonderful black and white movie! We cooked all our meals…

Response from Mark:
Apparently Liliana was confused about the bathroom situation. The guest bathroom is next to the bedroom. The extra bathroom in the basement is not for guests use. Also, there is limited wifi through a local cooperative, for a fee of $7.50 per week, which is semi-reliable, as is the internet based phone in the cabin which guests are welcome to use. There is a trash transfer site on highway 190, just below the junction with Redwood Drive. The hours are limited and posted at the gated entrance to the transfer site. There is a $10 minimum fee.
