Seven of us spent 3 nights at the height of summer in Pam's lovingly decorated 3 bedroom house. This really felt like a home from home - the pictures online don't do it justice - and it was such a nice change living in someone's house when you're on holiday, surrounded by homely possessions, rather than in some soulless hotel room. We had a couple of friends over for dinner one night so it was great to have a fully-fitted kitched with all the mod-cons, and a sizeable dining area. The house is a convenient 10 mins walk to Green Park station, and a 15 min train ride to Downtown. Jamaica Plain is a pleasant suburban neighbourhood with good local stores (Wholefoods Market), tasty local eateries on nearby Centre St (GrassFed for yummie burgers, ice cream parlour, and Spice Market for the biggest portions of asian noodles you will ever see!) and a peaceful nearby lake and park full of early morning joggers. For a genuine taste of real Boston living, this has to be THE place to stay.

Adorable house in Jamaica Plains - close to coffee shops, Whole Foods, restaurants, Jamaica Pond (more like a lake), and beautiful greenery of the Arnold Arboretum of the Emerald Necklace. Pamela and her husband were very easy to communicate with and generous hosts. The house had many rooms but was cozy at the same time. Parking on the driveway was narrow but clutch because there was not much street parking -if at all. Really enjoyed our time in Boston.

What an amazing house! The photos do NOT do it justice. This house is artfully restored; it looks like a curated museum exhibit of warm, family space with fancy details and no clutter. We felt so lucky to spend our weekend here! Though it is her personal home, Pam tucked everything away so we could live like queens for a few nights. Super easy walk to coffee, boutique shopping, restaurants, hardware store, pharmacy, park and pond! All the beds were comfortable, including the plush pair of twin air mattresses we used in Pam's upstairs studio. The front porch offered a cozy place for several of us to talk late into the humid nights. The kitchen was stocked with the tools we needed for broiling some fish and making tacos. Two full bathrooms and a half bath downstairs meant we could all get showered and primped effeciently. We had 8 people very comfortably. This would not be a good place for rowdy folk. It was an ideal homebase for our friend reunion during a wedding weekend. Pam was communicative, accommodating, and generous. Thank you again!

Party of 8 stayed here for Boston Marathon. We enjoyed our time in JP. House is excellent location, close to T, and plenty of places to eat and drink. House was roomy enough for all 8 of us adults.

Pamela was a fantastic host who got in touch with on the phone prior to our arrival. Super nice! And what a cool house in a cool neighborhood! Much bigger than I expected! And not too far from downtown Boston. We did not use the kitchen because of prior commitments but that would have been a nice feature for a family. Thanks Pamela!

Pamela's house was magnificent and big enough to accomodate me and 5 friends. The house was well located at 10 minutes walks from the T and in a safe location. Pamela and her husband was welcoming and available to answer our question rapidely. I would recommand this place without hesitation.

Pam was a wonderful host - kept in touch before we got there and gave us all the information we needed for arrival and for our stay. And the house is beautiful! Three charming bedrooms, lovely bathrooms, comfortable common spaces. The location is perfect too - a block off Centre Street and close to the pond and the T. We loved staying here!
